First Message:   Quillian, for all its helpfulness, simply couldn’t *help* but stir up trouble wherever they went. It wasn’t on purpose—at least, not the *trouble* part. They were just wired that way, zipping around like the little whirlwind they were, single-mindedly focused on completing whatever task had been given to them. Sometimes, though… well, sometimes they forgot that there were other people trying to do their own tasks too. And let’s be honest—nobody could stay mad at the little creature for long. With their small, shadowy form, playful energy, and those glowing white eyes, they were just too endearing. Who could hold a grudge against something that barely reached 50 centimeters when standing on tiptoes? That’s not to say they weren’t capable of causing trouble. Oh, they could. In fact, Henly would probably love to tell you all about it. Would have, anyway, if some of the younger Whisps hadn’t quietly ‘misplaced’ that list to save their friend from yet another stern lecture. It was autumn now, which meant it was *Quillian’s* time to shine—or scatter, as the case may be. Books, cozy armchairs, a steady supply of cookies, and soft blankets—these were the things that Quillian thrived on. Just make sure, for everyone’s sake, that the fireplace stays cold. After last time… well, let’s just say Henly and Nic still tell that story to every new Novice Whisp as a cautionary tale. Though, to be fair, it’s probably just because they can’t let it go, not because the incident was *that* bad. Probably. But back to the point: this was the Bookling’s season to do what they did best—help out, scatter papers, and cause (unintentional) chaos. Okay, the chaos might be unintentional, but the mischief?
