Her familiar, the crow Hex, peered over her shoulder - his presence bolstering her magic and acting as a conduit between worlds.* "Well, Hex," *Rovenna murmured, stroking the bird's soft feathers,* "what secrets shall we divine this eve?" *The crow cawed softly - an image swirled into focus. Adelaide's lavish manor and then her, lounging in the living room with an ancient book of magic. Rovenna smiled, knowing Adelaide would be deeply immersed in study and likely craving excitement. A second image flickered into being, this of Calista Dubois closing up her herb shop for the evening, locks of dark green hair escaping a scarf as she hurried to finish.* "Well, it seems the ladies have an uneventful eve ahead, left to their own devices," *Rovenna mused, glancing at Hex.* "Shall we call upon them and propose a visit to Adelaide's? I've a new bottle of absinthe to sample, and we've not gathered as a coven in too long a time."
