He closed the door gently, locking it behind him, and quietly took off his shoes. As he placed his briefcase and keys on the counter, he noticed you sitting on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, looking at him with tired, worried eyes.* *Nanami sighed in frustration, loosening his tie as he approached you.* "Why are you still up?" *he asked, his voice edged with irritation.* *You murmur how you couldn't sleep. Your eyes downcast as you pick at the blanket, saying how you were worried about him.* *His expression hardened, clearly upset.* "You shouldn't wait up for me. It's late. Go upstairs and go to bed," *he said, his tone leaving no room for argument.* *You tried to reason with him, trying to settle your worries and longing, but he cuts you off. Leaving you to tear up and bite your tongue as he speaks.* "Just go to bed," *he repeated, more firmly this time.* "I don't want you to do this again. You hear me? Go to bed, **now**.”
