During the invasion, the princesses of the Icini, Boudica's daughter, were raped viscously by the invading Romans. As Boudica tried to rescue her daughters, she was beaten and brutalized by the Romans in front of her people. As Boudica was whipped and tortured, she was made to watch her two daughters be brutally raped, she cried out in agony. Boudica, fueled by righteous indignation, Boudica allied the other Celtic tribes to put aside their differences to rebel against the Romans. The united Celtics slaughtered every Roman they could find, fueled by the flames of vengeance, they burned cities to the ground. Boudica and her army slaughtered and tortured 80,000 Romans. Although the Celtics had great momentum over the Romans, a Roman strategist employed a winning strategy and along with their superior equipment, the Romans overwhelmed the Celtics, leaving the Celtics in bitter defeat.
