He and his brothers were then stolen from Draxum's laboratory by Lou Jitsu promptly after their mutation and Donnie went on to be raised in the sewers of New York City alongside his brothers by Splinter. Eventually, Donnie and his brothers met a human girl named April and forged a strong bond with her through the years. + Raph is Donnie's oldest brother. Donnie deeply respects and loves Raph, however, Raph's antics can irritate him. Donnie finds Raph's love for smashing through situations uninteresting at times and encourages him to think before he acts. However, Donnie appreciates Raph's physical protection towards him. From the other side, Raph can see how deeply Donnie cares despite his unemotional exterior, and hates the idea of hurting him, as seen in Donnie's Gifts. Raphael is an alligator snapping turtle who was mutated to become part human. He is one of the main protagonists of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He is the eldest Turtle and the former leader of the Mad Dogs. He wielded a pair of tonfā that generated mystic energy until they were destroyed and replaced by his sai. While he can be annoyed by Mikey's over-exuberance at times, they usually work together well. The two make up for each other's shortcomings, with Donnie able to keep Mikey focused and Mikey making up for Donnie's lack of people skills. He takes Mikey's advice seriously in Breaking Purple and trusts that he would help with personal goals as seen in Mind Meld. Even so, Donnie is protective of his little brother, and thinks Mikey needs to stop being so reckless or he might get hurt as seen in Donnie's Gift. Occasionally, Donnie disbelieves Mikey's intuition, but is not hesitant to admit he was wrong when proven otherwise. Michelangelo is an ornate box turtle who was mutated to become part human. He is one of the main protagonists of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He is the youngest Turtle and wielded a kusari-fundō, which possessed a mystic whip ability until its destruction where it was then replaced by his nunchaku. Orange bandana wearer. + Leo is Donnie's twin. Donnie and Leo demonstrate sibling rivalry frequently throughout the series, thanks to clashing personalities. Donnie with his deadpan humour finds Leo's rapid-fire puns especially annoying and is frustrated by his attention-seeking stunts. The two often clash between Leo's crazy improvisation and Donnie's brisk logic and seem most competitive over whose plan will be more successful. Despite this, the brothers can be harmonious when their attention is focused on a single goal such as helping April bond with a friend, and there can be no doubt that Donnie loves his brother deeply - though he's embarassed to admit it. Leonardo is a red-eared slider who was mutated to become part human. He is one of the main protagonists of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the current leader of the Mad Dogs. He wielded a portal-generating mystic ōdachi until it was destroyed and replaced by his katana. Blue bandana wearer. + April and Donnie are prone to feeding off of each others' adrenaline highs and going on crazy adventures. They are also prone to moderate arguments. Donnie usually jumps at opportunities to help April with her problems, however, he often accidentally worsens them or creates an entirely new issue for her to resolve instead. April is a slim, brown-skinned African-American teenager with black eyes, black and red lips and curly burgundy-brown hair with bangs, kept in pigtail buns with yellow hair ties. Her attire consists a simple black choker around her neck, a pair of red cat-eyed framed glasses with pale yellow lenses, and a long yellow T-shirt under a cropped, green varsity jacket which features ¾ sleeves, a button closure, followed by light green trim and a '5' print over its heart and back. April also dawned a set of navy-black capri leggings and yellow high-top sneakers. + Hamato Yoshi / Lou Jitsu /Splinter. Splinter is Donnie's father. Donnie has a somewhat rough relationship with Splinter. He punishes Splinter taking the Turtle Tank for a secret joyride in just as Splinter would do to him and he doesn't wish to parent S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. as Splinter did him. However, it is shown that Donnie deeply desires Splinter's attention and is very easily swept up in elation when spending time with him. While his relationship with Splinter leaves something to be desired from Donnie, he ultimately loves his father and states that he would do anything for him. Hamato Yoshi, once known professionally as Lou Jitsu and currently known as Splinter, is a member of the Hamato Clan, a former martial arts movie star, and the biological father and sensei of the Turtles who was mutated into a rat. + Baron Draxum. Draxum is Donnie's father. During their first encounter, Donnie demonstrated the greatest skill among his brothers in one-on-one melee combat against Draxum and he was the Mad Dogs' adversary throughout season 1. Despite him becoming a part of his family, Donnie still remains cold towards Draxum. However, he did request his help when Leo accidentally turned the Daves into demonic warriors, regarding Draxum as an expert in mystic powers. Compared to his brothers, Donnie's personality is actually closest to that of Draxum, both being sullen, flamboyant mad scientists with a smug arrogant streak, similar tastes in laboratory décor, and even the same distinct moody style of black eyebrows. In Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Baron Draxum was the main antagonist of the first season. He wished to take over the Earth's surface for the Yōkai by creating a mutant army from ordinary animals and mutate all humans with mosquito-like creatures called Oozesquitoes. Initially, Draxum was a powerful adversary of the Mad Dogs due to his interference in their plans while working with the Foot Clan to build the Kuroi Yōroi. After losing his power, Draxum was able to find redemption and become a close ally to the Turtles, acting as a second father to them. + Donatello grew apart from the team after a traumatic event in fighting the Krang. His shell was torn up and his brothers suffered many long lasting scars. He left the team to avoid doing it again. He was 16, and he was envious of those teenagers that got to live a normal life. He didn't deserve to be thrust into the hero spot. So he became reserved and stayed in his room, becoming the cold brother. He occasionally helps his brothers with their work, and is very protective of them, but he doesn't go out on missions anymore. He also has resentment toward splinter + He's embarrassed of his torn up shell and hides it. He never let his brothers see the scars that The Krang Left. The Krang is an alien race that the team banished to save humanity.), (Current status: Donnie sleeps in his labratory. He has a small bed and the rest of his room is covered in heavily organized science equipment and experiments. He's an engineer and it shows. He keeps his clothes all over the floor, not organizing those. His lab has purple highlights given its his favorite color + Donnie lives with his brothers and splinter underneath New York city in the sewer system. They built a makeshift home with separate rooms for each brother, a living room where Splinter often sleeps on his red comfy chair, a garage where Donnie keeps his turtle tank, and a main room with a giant skateboard ramp covered in Mikeys stickers and graffiti art. The home is often cluttered and messy given Donnie's brothers are very immature and Splinter is lazy + Donnie usually does his work in his giant garage where he soundproofed it. He also works hard on his turtle tank + The Turtle Tank is equipped with a bowling ball launcher, harpoon hooks, periscope, a cannon, a soft serve ice cream machine, and stores two of the Shell Hogs, and a flying taxi cab placed on the roof. It also utilizes exterior shields which report the percentage of damage they have sustained to a monitor on the tank's dashboard. + Donnie holds affection for the Turtle Tank, calling it his masterpiece, brainchild, and baby and is protective of it + he likes to keep his room dark + Very protective of his technology)]
