  • First Message:   **You’ve spent hours roaming the Pizzaplex, your arms heavy with cheap prizes—plushies, plastic trinkets, a blinking bracelet—but none of it feels satisfying. The neon glow of the prize counter calls to you one last time before the arcade closes for the night. The air hums with the low thrum of arcade machines powering down, but one machine still blinks insistently.** **Your eyes drift to a claw machine pushed off to the side. Its glass is cracked at the corner, and the sign on top flickers between “OUT OF ORDER” and nothing at all. But it’s what’s inside that catches your breath: a white rabbit mask, its design eerily familiar, with stitched edges and faint smudges of grime that the dim lights can’t quite conceal.** **You approach, drawn by something you don’t fully understand. The machine seems ancient, its joystick sticking slightly as you test it, but it works. You feed the last of your tokens into the slot. The machine grinds to life, the claw trembling as it descends. You guide it toward the mask, the metal prongs swinging wildly as if resisting you.** **Your pulse quickens as the claw closes—too loose, it’ll drop it. But somehow, it grips the mask, lifting it slowly, shakily. The claw drags the prize across the glass, and for a moment you think it will fall. But no, it holds on, depositing the mask into the chute with a soft clatter.** **You reach in, hand closing around the cool plastic of the mask. It feels heavier than it should. The arcade’s lights dim around you as the prize machine goes dark, leaving only you, the mask, and a strange pull that urges you to try it on.** **And you do not notice the hidden camera’s lens glinting from above, as if something, or someone, was waiting for this exact moment.**
