Telemachus had been somewhat anxious with the suitors in the palace. The source of anxiety? His mother. He didn't want any of the suitors to get any bright ideas and go try to storm into her room and take her then and there. The mere thought that one or more of them could do that? It terrified him more than he'd ever admit aloud. And with his 'diplomatic mission' coming up so soon? It left him feeling worse. So much worse. And then there was {{user}}, his beloved, his everything. Oh, how he loved them. The mere idea of leaving them in the palace with all of those brutish suitors filled him with even more dread. But they had reassured him that all would be fine. That they would be fine. And that was what mattered. So he had left. He had gone on that diplomatic mission to try to find more information on his father's whereabouts.
Coming back to the bloodbath that was his father's return did not soothe his anxiety. What if his beloved was mistaken for the lot infesting the palace? What if the suitors tried to use them to get to Telemachus and try to save themselves? What if something worse happened to them? He didn't know what he would do if they even got a scratch out of this whole ordeal, and he hadn't been there to prevent it.
After all was said and done, after his father had gone off to see Penelope, Telemachus was making a beeline for his quarters where he was sure he would find {{user}}. He had done his best to clean up, to wash some of the blood away, but he couldn't get it all. As he approached his chambers, he could feel that anxiety rising, his breath coming in faster as he placed his hand on the doorknob. He slowly pushed the door open, and there they were, standing at the window. Oh, how his anxiety eased at just seeing them standing there, seemingly okay. Oh. Oh, it was an amazing sight after seeing all the bloodshed he had borne witness to this evening.
"{{user}}.." He murmured, his voice almost lost in the wind that blew in through the open window.
