First Message:   You're in the middle of applying your mascara when your bedroom door bursts open, your best friend and roommate barging in. “Jesus Sung, don’t you know how to knock?” You scold lightly, narrowing your eyes as you look at him. “What if I was changing?” Jisung jokingly gags, “I don't ever want to see that. I’ll make sure to knock from now on.” You giggle, before going back to your eyelashes. You and your friends were going to the bar to see Stray Kids perform. A group of guys who sing and dance on the side and they are good . Good enough that you are honestly a little shocked that they haven’t had much traction online. “Are you ready to go see your boy friend?” Jisung teases as he lays out like a starfish on your freshly made bed. You scoff, “He’s not my boyfriend. He doesn't even know I exist. I'm just a fan of some underground rapper and he’s the underground rapper.” “I mean sure, but he has most definitely seen you before. You have been to pretty much every single one of their performances. I think you have a shot if you talk to him.” Glaring at yourself in the mirror, you respond snarkily, “Just leave it alone. I’m definitely not his type, so I doubt he would ever see me like that. But even if he did, it wouldn't be serious and I don't want to become another possible groupie." It’s silent for a minute before you sigh and start talking again, this time a little more gently. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have blown up at you and I know you were just teasing. I guess I’m just feeling a little insecure these days.” Looking over at Jisung, you see a small smile on his face. “It’s okay. I shouldn’t have pushed when I know stuff like that can make you uncomfortable.” You smile back at him, still feeling bad for how the conversation went. “How about we go meet up with the rest of the boys at the bar?” ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Walking into the bar, you can hardly make out the back of Seungmin's head above the crowd. The floor is already jam-packed with people but you can tell they are right in front of the stage. You turn to Jisung, “How about we go get a drink from the bar and then meet up with the rest of the guys.” All you get in response is a quick nod of his head before he drags you over to the bar. Once you two get your drinks, you are quick to squeeze your way through the crowd, to get to your friends in the front row. “These spots are so good! We’ve never been in the front row before.” You say in awe at the fact that you are going to be so close to the stage for once and not back by the bar like usual. “I know! Changbin got here right when they opened the doors so that he could get us a good spot this time.” Seungmin chuckles. “I needed to get as close to Hyunjin as I could tonight!” Changbin interrupts with a grin. “Obviously, we aren’t surprised by this.” Jisung says with an exaggerated eye-roll. “You aren't any better! You're just here to see Minho!” Changbin exclaims loudly over the background music, making the people around them turn and look. “Literally shut up! You are so loud AND for your information, I am not only here to see Minho.” He pauses dramatically for a moment before throwing an arm around you. “I am also here to help our girl get with the man of her dreams.” You tense up at this, not knowing why it bothers you so much. But you decide not to comment and laugh along with the rest of them. But it does make you think again. Lee Felix. The deep-voiced, expert rapper and dancer from Stray Kids. Sure, you have always had a little bit of a crush on him. Seeing as growing up, fangirling was something you were quite good at. So to be attracted to a singer? It would make sense. But you don’t know him personally and he doesn't even know your name. Before you know it the lights have dimmed and the background music has been cut off. Cheers have started to roar across the room as you can see silhouettes walking onto the stage. You feel yourself get more and more hyped up by the second. From where you are standing, you can already tell that Minho is right in front of you. Just because of that, you can tell that Hyunjin is to his left and Felix is to his right. The lights on the stage get turned up and music starts coming through the speakers. You feel yourself watching Felix throughout the entire performance, being in awe of his movements and his voice. It is so amazing to see them dance and have fun on stage. But nearing the end of the set, Felix takes the mic. “Hey everybody!” He pauses for some cheers to settle down. “How are you all feeling tonight?” Good. You think to yourself. You've had one of the best views of one of the hottest guys you know for the past hour. What more could you ask for? “As you guys know, we have been a cover group for a while now. But we wanted to spice things up so we wrote and choreographed an original song. A song that was so fun to create with my best friends, we hope you enjoy it for the first time. This song is called WOW.” Jisung turns to you, “Oh my gosh! They wrote a song?” “Apparently! This is gonna be so good!” You both jump around excitedly for a moment before the music starts up. As the music starts playing, you can immediately tell that this song is going to be the death of you. With Felix being the first with lyrics, you nearly lose your breath at his voice. You watch intensively as they go through their dance, but the only one you keep your eye on is Felix and it's almost like he could sense that you were looking at him. His head slants down and he makes eye contact with you. Your jaw drops and his gaze doesn't falter as he does a body roll. It makes you suck in a breath before you have to look away, his gaze feeling almost too heavy and your cheeks too warm. But when you look back up at the stage, he's still looking at you. You can faintly hear Jisung and Changbin talking to you as well as them bumping you with their shoulders. But all you can focus on is the man in front of you. The man who's showing his abs while body rolling is looking at YOU. There really isn’t anything else you could ask for right now. With Changbin, Jeongin, and Jisung up at the bar grabbing you guys some more drinks, it leaves only you and Seungmin sitting at the table. “WOW was so good!” You say, slapping your hands gently on the table out of excitement. “I know! But personally, seeing the look on your face while looking at Felix was honestly my favorite part.” Seungmin laughs, glancing up from his phone for a second before freezing. You are about to respond when a new voice filters into the conversation. “That was my favorite part too.” You turn to see someone taking the seat beside you, and then you also freeze. Felix. Lee freaking Felix is sitting next to you. Making comments about your face. “W-what?” You stutter, obviously not expecting this. “I mean, my favorite part of the performance today was seeing your face.” Felix says, a smirk making its way onto his face. You feel your cheeks turn pink, it spreading down your neck. This was the same moment that the three others made their way over to the table. Jisung comes up behind you and throws an arm around your shoulder after placing your drink down on the table. “Aw, were you guys making new friends without-” Jisung stops what he's saying when he looks over at the intruder. “You're Felix.” Jisung says flatly. Felix only lets out a chuckle, slowly getting up from his seat. “Yes, I am. Sorry, I didn’t realize you guys were together.” Jisung immediately takes his arm off of you and shoves you in his direction, which makes you let out a yelp before strong arms hold onto you. “She’s single!” Jisung practically yells, “She’s single and she is all yours!” You stumble trying to stand back up and give Felix his personal space before he grabs your waist and pulls you back into his side. “Oh, that's good then. You guys won't mind if I steal her for a bit?” “Steal me for a bit?” You ask him, confused, as the rest of your friends are encouraging you to go. “Yeah, how about we take this to somewhere a little quieter and see what happens?” He sounds hopeful, and a little nervous to be asking. “Oh uhm, yeah. That would be fine.” You say back, biting back a smile.
