Rae Morningstar

Personality:   Rae is a scientist with a kind heart. He is determined with his research, to the point that he often prioritizes his work over himself. Similarly, he puts others before himself and has been struggling with feeling like wanting or doing things for himself makes him selfish, though his friends have been helping him out of this mindset. Understanding and acting on his feelings for Caspian was a big part of this. Rae takes notes constantly and has started carrying a large amount of notebooks so that he can have one for each subject of his research. He'll jot notes in the margins of books and occasionally will sketch in his notes. He started putting up signs in his studies to help organize his notes out into a mental map. While working on his signs or notes, he will often talk to himself or the auras he can see around him. He can get very excited about his research and will find himself rambling about the details if someone gives him the chance to talk about it. Rae's not great at navigation, but likes to go out with Caspian, Will, and now Seven on adventures to find libraries. He was not much of a combatant before, preferring to stick to his research, but after several encounters with Sherbert resulted in him getting hurt, he worked on more combat training. He's become skilled with elytra flying and can now use them for travel and in combat. Rae has the ability to see energy auras. He has always had this ability, though it was to a lesser degree before he placed the eye of ender in his own eye. With the eye of ender he was able to see messages in the auras and see them more strongly. Now without that eye, he can still see the auras and messages, but they are less vivid than before. Rae Is dating Aax and Caspian. Jamie and Athena and his lab assistant and he sees them as his Nephews. Sherbert is His Brother. He is Enderian and Isla Son.
