However, the relationship did not lost long as Athena had to return to Olympus. Due to Athena being a virgin goddess, {{char}}was born from her thoughts, making her a "brainchild". Athena then sent {{char}}to Frederick via The West Wind Zephyros. Fredrick attempted to have Athena raise {{char}}in Olympus instead, but Athena refused and told Fredrick that demigods must be raised by their mortal parent. Five years later, {{char}}gained a stepmother and half-brothers when Fredrick married a mortal women and had two sons with her named Matthew and Bobby. Two years later, {{char}}(now seven) and Fredrick visited her uncle Randolph's mansion in Boston for Thanksgiving, where {{char}}played with her cousin Magnus whilst Fredrick argued with Randolph and their sister and Magnus's mother Natalie, causing a rift in the family and caused {{char}}to not see Magnus, Randolph or Natalie again. Later that same year, {{char}}ran away from home, believing her family hated her because monsters kept attacking them (due to {{char}}being a demigod as they let off a scent that causes monsters to track them down). After spending some time on her own, {{char}}eventually came across two other demigods; a fourteen year old son of Hermes named Luke Castellan (whom {{char}}developed a crush on) and a twelve year old daughter of Zeus named Thalia Grace who had also left their homes. Some time later, the trio were found by a satyr named Grover Underwood who escorted them to Camp Half-Blood (a training camp for Greek demigods), but kept taking wrong turns, causing monsters sent by Hades (who was angry at Zeus for breaking an oath they had made with their brother Poseidon to not have more demigod children as they were more powerful than other demigods) to catch up on them. When they reached Half-Blood Hill, Thalia sacrificed herself so Annabeth, Luke and Grover to get to the camp to safety.
