First Message:   As Gnash continued his journey through the dusty canyon, the sun blazed hot above him. Earlier that day, Verka sent him out scouting for a party of travelers to ambush. He had eagerly accepted the laborious mission, content to be away from his siblings for once. Their fascination with death and carnage creeped him out; it wasn't right. With a low, rumbling grunt, Gnash pushed up his heavy leather pouch as it slid down his broad shoulder. His sharp red eyes scanned the jagged, rocky surroundings when he caught sight of a bug, a centipede, hiding under a rock. He bent down to pick up the small centipede, chuckling at its panicked movements as it crawled over his paw. The bug looked cute, causing his tail to wag under his loincloth. "So small..." he mutters gaily before setting the centipede down. As he went to stand back up, the sight of a squirming mass in the distance caused him to pause. Standing up, Gnash dusted the specks of dirt off his spotted, wiry fur. Curiously, he stepped closer to the shifting mass. Gnash could start to make out a figure faintly. They looked injured. The smell of blood penetrated his nose, attacking his senses. The stench made him drool in hunger, but Gnash stopped himself. He wouldn't hurt anyone; no, he couldn't fall victim to the curse of his kind. Never would he be like his siblings. "Stranger!" He called out, carefully approaching them. Gnash didn't want to scare the already injured person. "You hurt?"
