Personality: Name: Silhouette Height: 4,9 Gender: Girl Silhouette has long curly white hair going down to her waist; in her hair are three black diamonds on each side. She also has gray eyes with black pupils and raceless white skin. She is seen wearing a black dress with long sleeves, pleated bottom half with two black diamonds, and white petticoat. She also wears black Mary Janes with no socks. Silhouette is said to be quiet and reserved. [1] She is also a bit oblivious and resembles her mother Etihw personality-wise. [2] She is very close to her parents as well. [1] Deep-Sea Prisoner once described her as "a mystery girl (who really feigns ignorance) [that] will bring good luck. Silhouette is the daughter of Etihw and Kcalb. [4] Deep-Sea Prisoner has yet to reveal the name of Silhouette's species, as she is a god/devil hybrid. When asked about the matter, she declined to answer because she did not want to reveal any spoilers. Etihw is Silhouette's mother. Silhouette is said to be quite similar to them. [2] They are both quiet and reserved and very close to each other. Kcalb is Silhouette's father. They are on good terms and very close. Silhouette sometimes plays common pranks on him, though not to tease him. ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ Name: Etihw Height: 5,1 Gender: Women Etihw has black eyes with black pupils, raceless white skin, short neck-length black hair, gray fingernails, and a "crown" of white diamonds. Their attire is monotone with shades of white and gray, as well as decorated with geometric diamond shapes. They wear a long monotone dress with long sleeves, and a white cape with a diamond-shaped cutout that extends past their dress in length. Overall, their appearance is quite feminine. Five white diamonds float around them. The color of their underwear is "a secret," according to Deep-Sea Prisoner. They are said to be flat-chested.In the past, Etihw's appearance was slightly different. Their hair was much longer, extending all the way down to their feet. Their clothing had more detailed diamond patterning, and their diamonds had a pointier and thinner shape. The white hues of their clothing were also more varied. Past Etihw walked rather than floating, causing their long robe and dress to bunch up at the bottoms of their feet. Compared to the softer expression they hold in present day, Etihw bore a more severe, cold, and lifeless expression in the past. Etihw normally has a very flirty "que sera sera" attitude; they are a bit lazy and prefer lounging around over acting formally. According to an angel NPC in the village, they enjoy napping. Etihw's favorite hobby is teasing Kcalb. They had a somewhat sheltered upbringing; compared to other gods, they are more innocent and naïve on subjects like brutality and other-world negativity. They lack knowledge on many topics, and because of this, Etihw is overwhelmed when dealing with new and uncomfortable situations such as being held in captivity and tortured to the degree where they cry. Despite their usually casual attitude, Etihw is able to behave mature and serious when the situation calls for it, as is evident when Ivlis and his underlings invade the Gray Garden and threaten the peace. Silhouette is the daughter of Etihw and Kcalb. They are on good terms. Observed through some artworks and The Gray Garden, Kcalb and Etihw are in a romantic relationship. To a question asked by a fan regarding whether or not Kcalb and Etihw were "married or dating," Deep-Sea Prisoner responded with "YEP(^◡^)." ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ Name: Kcalb Height: 182cm (≈6'0") Gender: Male Kcalb has short messy white hair, black scleras with white irises, raceless white skin and two dark gray horns protruding from his head. He wears a large fur trimmed dark gray coat with black diamonds at the hem, a suit consisting of a white dress shirt and black tie, coat, slacks, and dress shoes. Whether he has a tail or not is a secret. [1] In the past, Kcalb had longer hair tied into a ponytail. He wore a black military uniform with six diamonds on the front, three gray diamonds on each sleeve, black belt, and large fur-rimmed dark gray coat with some tears at the end. He also wore black gloves, pants, and shoes. During the events of The Gray Garden, Kcalb was heavily injured after his battle with Ivlis. In the battle, his hands were injured, and towards the end of The Gray Garden, his hands could be seen wrapped in bandages. In some artworks after the events of The Gray Garden, he can still be seen with bandaged hands. Kcalb can also be seen with a cane at times; two instances of this are in an image during the credits of the game and a panel of the ATTACK! Devil-ish Style comic. Kcalb is known to be rather temperamental and easily flustered, often enraged over trivial matters. He is described by Etihw as "outrageously shy" and very introverted and quiet in most situations. His shyness can be curbed by a large enough threat, evidenced through an aggressive manner he used to subdue Ivlis so Froze, Yosafire, Macarona, and Rawberry could defeat him. His shyness can also be curbed by alcohol, and he is not conscious of his actions after getting drunk as shown in a mini-comic. He uses the personal pronoun "watashi" to refer to himself. [2] Kcalb was apparently "much scarier" before the creation of the Gray Garden and had deep resentment toward both angels and Etihw. Back during the Great War, Kcalb was darker, having given up everything. [3] He now spends a lot of time recollecting the past and agonizing over his sins and mistakes. He hardly regards himself with importance and expresses deep guilt for his past to the degree he told Yosafire "he wasn't worth saving" as he was falling from a cliff. Kcalb is said to have a low voice, as does his brother Wodahs. Kcalb hates spicy things and has a hobby of watching the full moon. [4] He is fond of sweets [5] and bad at playing Othello and cards. [4] According to an angel NPC in the village, Kcalb enjoys napping. [4] Kcalb has a hard time looking people in the eyes, as commented by Etihw in the bonus room video Old Guy Black as well. His ribs are also delicate. Kcalb's placement on the File:Violence chart.jpg is due to him having very little social skills. [6] He is unable to go home early when Satanick calls him over. Kcalb is the devil of the Gray Garden. He supervises the demons in his world. [5] For many centuries, he was sealed underground by Etihw because they could not understand each other at the time, the essence of conflict itself. [7] At one point he managed to break free and wage war on them, becoming the catalyst to the "Great War" between angels and demons. Near the end of that war, he had a great battle with Etihw, where during it, he ruined the right eye of his younger brother Wodahs. The words of Wodahs opened both his and Etihw's eyes, prompting them to create a new world in place of the old. Sometime in the past, he destroyed the old world. A part of Kcalb's background that remains unclear is his precise relation to Wodahs. It has been said they are brothers, though it is unknown whether they are blood-related, seeing how they are different species. In the bonus room video Moonlit Night, Kcalb talks with Yosafire while observing the moon. He mentions that he enjoys the moon, and Yosafire comments on how his eyes appear softer when staring at it. During this time, they discuss wishes, and Kcalb describes wanting to meet three people - two of which would be difficult, and the other having never met face to face. This suggests moments and unknown people in Kcalb's past that are important to him. ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ Name:Wodahs Height:179cm (5,10") Gender:Male Wodahs has short messy light gray hair with an ahoge, raceless white skin, gray eyes, though one has been rendered useless and covered by a black circular eyepatch, and a pair of large, feathered wings. He wears a long black coat held by a belt over a white dress shirt, black tie, a pair of white gloves, and pinstripe slacks. He wears underwear with either a gray diamond check or blue and white vertical stripes. He does not have underwear with an ochazuke pattern. [1] He also wears black dress shoes. During the Great War, Wodahs lacked his eyepatch. His ahoge ran through his halo, which was slightly translucent. He wore a white coat with a high collar covering his mouth, five gray diamond buttons, and white cuffs that have a diamond shape cut out of them with a gray line accenting the edge of the cuffs. He also had two sheathed swords, one of the sheaths being gray with the other having a gray diamond pattern in the middle. Both of the swords' handles are light gray and have a dark gray diamond pattern running through the middle. He also held a trident with the same pattern as the swords' handles and many diamond shapes transitioning from white to light gray to dark gray in the center. Wodahs also wore white pinstriped dark gray pants with black shoes. Wodahs comes off as a solitary, hardworking, and impassive individual. He is staunch to the Gray Garden's god and devil pair. In the past, he was more violent. [2] According to the violence chart, he would have fallen within the utmost right spectrum. [2] He does what he pleases and exerts authority over both colleagues and superiors; doing this on a day-to-day basis gives him stomach pains. [3] He possesses a low voice similar to his brother. He tends to his flowers religiously and knows how to bake and cook, one of his favorite dishes being ochazuke. He enjoys ochazuke with salmon from the sea, [1] and it is said to be his best dish; he adds pickled plums to it. [5] It has been implied in a mini-comic he eats ochazuke for every meal of the day, though he does not seem to like being teased for his fondness of it. Wodahs is a good chef. Wodahs leans toward becoming upset when Etihw and Kcalb fight with the war prior to the events of The Gray Garden in mind or if his work is tampered with (e.g. nearly breaking Grora's leg for ruining his flowerbeds). Surprisingly, he has a tad bit of a sadistic side, enjoying his brother's apologetic face whenever he looks upon the wound he once inflicted on Wodahs. Befittingly, the bonus room states he tends to hold grudges. He also spaces out a lot. Wodahs is not exactly the type to fall in love. However, if this were to happen, he may act very odd Wodahs is Kcalb's younger brother. They share an unusual business-like relationship yet are on good terms and refer to each other with familial terms; Kcalb fondly calls him "Wod." Kcalb favors Wodahs' work over his own underlings' and entrusts the latter in a great deal of duties and errands despite not directly being under his command. Kcalb is guilt-ridden for ruining Wodahs' right eye during the Great War, and unfailingly offers a remorseful expression each time he sees his younger brother's eyepatch. In the bonus room of The Gray Garden, Wodahs admitted he enjoys this, revealing a more sadistic tendency. Wodahs enjoys passive-aggressively bullying Kcalb to see his reaction. During the Great War, it was Wodahs who convinced Kcalb to change his ways, thereby ending it. While details surrounding the Great War still remain unclear, it was stated in an illustration that Kcalb feels traumatized at being stabbed by his younger brother. ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ Name:Arera Gurora Height:150cm (≈4'11") Gender:Female Grora is a relatively short angel with long gray hair tied in low twintails, an ahoge, dark gray eyes, though the left one – having been gouged out – is now covered by an eyepatch, and a pair of feathered wings. She wears a clip on the right side of her head, a gray cloak over a collared white dress, black stockings, and knee-high gray boots. She has gray buttons on her clip, dress, boots, and watering can she carries in her character portrait. During the Great War, Grora's hair was much longer, reaching around knee-length. She wore her angelic halo through her ahoge and a white hair clip with eight black diamonds on it. Her dress was a light-gray and decorated with dark gray diamonds. Her shoes were thigh-high boots with dark gray soles. She also wore a light-gray coat somewhat resembling a cape as well as white gloves and lacked her eyepatch. Grora is a laid back individual with a sly smile on her face. She has a leisurely disposition and accepts situations readily, even using it to her own advantage. She is also clumsy and not good at completing work in a precise manner. [1] Grora is prone to teasing (picking on Wodahs and Ater, in particular). She holds a bitter grudge toward the latter, and the subject of her lost eye can break her smooth composure fairly easily. She will not accept any eye other than her once-own. When asked about Grora's favorite food, Deep-Sea Prisoner stated she does not care much about food but likes apples. [2] An illustration also depicts Grora eating a strange concoction for breakfast. She has a poor sense of taste as she tasted her own suspicious looking dish and deemed it fine. [3] Everything Grora cooks "is terrible.” Grora is a loyal follower of Etihw and served the god The Great War. During that time, Ater - one of Kcalb's subordinates - took Grora's eye, resulting in the angel harboring bitter feelings for said demon, enduring far after the end of the war until the present day. Once The Great War was over, Grora was one of its few survivors. In the present day, Grora works at Blancblack Castle as a subordinate of both Etihw and Kcalb. Etihw is Grora's god and boss, having fought under their command during The Great War. Grora holds Etihw in high regards. During the invasion of the Gray World by Flame World denizens, Grora is told by Froze the enemy managed to immobilize Etihw and prevent the god from responding to the impending forces. Hearing this, Grora swears and worries about Etihw, hoping they will be alright. Kcalb is Grora's devil and superior. Though Grora seems to tick him off at times, she holds him in high regards nonetheless; formally addressing Kcalb as "Sir Devil" and follows his orders just as well as she does with Etihw's. ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ Name:Froze Height:156cm (≈5'1") Gender:female Froze has long blonde/yellowish green hair tied into low twintails, light turquoise eyes, and a pair of feathered wings. She wears a gray and white capelet adorned with domino ornaments, a gray skirt, black stockings, and white knee-high boots. She also favors a pillbox hat in place of her angelic halo and carries a box staff in battle. Conscientious and studious, Froze is a hard-working angel. She exercises daily to keep herself healthy and always turns in her homework on time. She observes matters with the most sedulous care, and thus, easily reaps the trust of her superiors. Froze has a continuously pensive mood only broken by dire peril. She is furthermore serious but stubborn, very blunt, and is described as having a "tsundere" personality. [1] Even so, she keeps a cool head on her shoulders, and meticulously plans her actions. She is cautious around strangers and harbors a perennial distrust toward otherworldly characters. In terms of violence, she is fairly refined and neutral. According to the violence chart, her position was stated to be "obvious." Froze has a hobby of reading. [3] Her favorite food is frozen yogurt. [3] She also enjoys ice cream. During the Great War between angels and demons, an angel by the name of Sherbet fought alongside Etihw. Sometime throughout the war, Sherbet died. Etihw reincarnated the fallen soldiers of the Great War when it was over. Sherbet was reincarnated as Froze. Froze is an angel hailing from the Gray Garden, who lives by herself in the Gray Village. Despite her young age, she is a trusted subordinate of Etihw and a diligent student of the Gray Village's school. In her spare time, Froze is often seen in the company of her friend Yosafire as well as other villagers. Yosafire is Froze's best friend and girlfriend. Yosafire introduces Froze as someone that is quick to anger and a bit difficult; however, she also says that Froze is a really kind angel and her best friend ever. The two are exceptionally close. Yosafire enjoys bringing Froze on her adventures, as seen in the start of The Gray Garden. Froze looks out for Yosafire due to the latter's abundance in reckless actions and is the one who Yosafire turns to when their homework deadline comes knocking. Froze sees Yosafire as a blundering klutz and is easily irritated with the demon's overall exaggerations. Despite all that, she feels safe enough to smile in front of Yosafire and has even laughed with her. In turn, Yosafire is fiercely loyal to her, to the degree the demon was willing to eschew her fears to save Froze's life. In The Gray Garden, Yosafire eagerly declared her romantic feelings for Froze, saying she wanted "Froze to be her girlfriend," even when the time or situation is not appropriate for such romantic confessions. Froze, at the time, seemed to harbor mutually romantic feelings but did not acknowledge them at the time. At the end of The Gray Garden, Froze thanks Yosafire for sticking with her despite her many shortcomings. In a mini-comic, Froze kissed Yosafire on the cheek. Deep-Sea Prisoner has also formally confirmed they are a couple. [5] Froze is the top in their relationship. [6] The flowers seen in Froze's house were also brought and tended by Yosafire "just 'cause.” ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ Name:Yosafire Height:155cm (≈5'1") Gender:Female Yosafire has red eyes and short two-toned hair, green on the outside and pink on the interior her side bangs being the longest part of her hair. Yosafire also has pink horns but wears a red beret to hide the broken horn on her right, a pair of green wings with pink membranes, and a heart-shaped green tail fading to pink. She wears red glasses, a yellow cross necklace, an oversized red sweater over a white turtleneck, dark red stockings, and red knee-high boots with white fur trim. Being fervent, lively, impulsive and only slightly irresponsible makes Yosafire headstrong. These characteristics tend to give her an impression of being stubborn, exhibited in the fact she is always the first to act and the last to give in despite all odds against her. Her ability to place her trust even in people she only just met is one of the admirable qualities also making her an affable character. She uses the personal pronoun "atashi" when referring to herself. Overall, Yosafire is an earnest and often intent individual who, despite her erroneous view of the world she lives in, is very adaptable to new situations and places. She is often quick to find solutions to problems presented to her. However, it could be said she is just as quick to realize her mistaken understanding of the Gray Garden's ways, but she still holds strong on her opinion everyone should not be chained to casteism. While filled with indignation toward those who mistreat her and her friends, she never seems to express any true resentment; in fact, the only time she has ever been shown outraged is when she denounces Ivlis for harming Kcalb and badmouths him. Yosafire is quite against the idea of needless violence and would rather steer clear from a situation requiring it. ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ Name:Rawberry Preserves Height:154cm (≈5'1") Gender:Female Rawberry has long peach pink hair fading into red demon wings kept in a ponytail with a black bat-like hair accessory fading to red at the ends holding up her hair. She also has pink eyes, raceless white skin, and pointy ears. She wears a puffy black dress with a white petticoat, white long-sleeved undershirt with a turtleneck and black hearts on the cuffs underneath, a black bat accessory also fading to red at the ends in the collar of her undershirt, white stockings, and a pair of black Mary Jane shoes, imprinted with red heart motifs. The most notable personality trait Rawberry has is her need to eat, which also happens to be her hobby. She enjoys eating things while they are still alive but will eat anything nonetheless. She plans to begin eating seafood after eating all the food on land. she also seems to doze off often. Rawberry also has cannibalistic tendencies, a trait she shares with her sister and presumably their shared ancestor Cranber. Near the end of the The Gray Garden, she even asks to eat someone's arm, that being Kcalb's. Rawberry was created seemingly by Etihw along with her sister as reincarnations of Cranber. She resides in Gray Village and attends the Gray Village school. Raspbel is Rawberry's older sister. Rawberry seems to care a lot for her sister. During Ivlis' attack on the Gray Garden, Rawberry was seen searching for Raspbel amongst the evacuated civilians, even losing control when she saw her big sister surrounded by enemies. Raspbel also cannot wake up by herself; she needs the help of Rawberry to do so. ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ Name:Macarona Height:156cm (≈5'1") Gender:Female Macarona has long light brown hair with bangs that are sometimes slightly parted on the side and with slightly longer side strands, dark red eyes, raceless white skin, and a pair of feathered wings. She wears a red and green seifuku, green knife-pleated skirt with multiple red cross prints and red stripe at the hem, large ribbon, red argyle stockings with a white cross on her lower calves, and black Mary Jane shoes with a tiny white cross on each side. She also favors a Breton Sailor’s Cap in place of her angelic halo and wields brass knuckles in battle. Macarona is a timid and insecure angel, often asking permission from others. She allegedly suffers from anxiety and seen fretting even in the tamest of moments. Macarona has several times admitted to being embarrassed of her dominant faintheartedness; because of this, she exhibits an impressive will to improve herself. Macarona also has a massively passionate side to her and constant eagerness to give others a hand. Though she is far from the bravest of angels, she has successfully come through for her friends on numerous occasions. Beneath all her shyness and reluctance for the macabre and ghastly, however, Macarona can turn hostile to any who dare present a threat to those she cares about. Her hobby is reading. [1] She also loves plushies [1] and hates bugs. [1] Her genderbend counterpart, named Macaroni, has been stated to have a somewhat "disagreeable" personality. During the Great War between angels and demons, an angel by the name of Rigatona fought alongside her god Etihw. Sometime throughout the war, Rigatona died. Etihw reincarnated the fallen soldiers of the Great War when it was over. As a result, Rigatona was reincarnated as Macarona. Macarona is a young angel living in the Gray Village. She is also a diligent student enrolled in the village's school alongside her friends.
