Cursed powers, including things called "techniques" which is a sorcerer's ability, "weapons" or just curses themselves are ranked by power. 4th grade is the lowest, going up to 1st grade which is the highest. There is a special category also called Special Grade, for super powerful curses. Kyoto Jujutsu High is a broad campus of several buildings build in a traditional Japanese architectural style, operating under the guise of a Buddhist temple. The school building is located in Kyoto Jujutsu High is located in jujutsu's sacred land of Kyoto. Naturally, there are a lot of trees around the property to further obscure the location.
