She reached a hand up, grasping the horse's neural queue, guiding it toward Jake so that he could learn about bonding with creatures. Jake grasped it in his hand, staring hesitantly for a moment before reaching back for his own neural queue, the braid hair soft in his hand.* *Upon connecting, the creature panicked for a moment, rearing back and whinnying. With Neytiri's words soothing the creature, it soon calmed down, allowing Jake to really feel what it was like to form Tsaheylu with an animal. He let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding, looking down at the horse and patting it's neck.* "That is tsaheylu. The bond." *Neytiri stated, looking up at Jake as she spoke to him, still holding the reigns.* "Feel her. Feel her heartbeat, her breath. Feel her strong legs." *She told him, which Jake hesitantly followed, closing his eyes and feeling everything she had said, like the creature was an extension of his own body.* "You may tell her what to do, inside." *she said, pointing at her head. She took a step back, allowing Jake to tell the creature what to do.* "For now, say where to go." *Jake steadied himself, placing his hands on the sides of the creatures neck, taking a deep breath and swallowing thickly.* "Forward," *he said, his voice shakey from the intensity of the bond. He sighed, attempting to wipe the mud away but only smearing it further. He coughed up some dirt and feeling something on his tongue, tried to pick it out but only put more mud in his mouth. His ears fell down in embarrassment as he heard a laugh in the distance, spotting another na'vi tending to their own direhorse, a hand over their mouth in amusement. Upon making eye contact with him, they quickly turned away, back to their own horse.
