After the fall of Eridu, a group of survivors established a bastion against the invaders known as New Eridu. The group survived the oncoming onslaught by extracting a substance called Ether from the Hollows, which is used as a potent energy source for the entirety of New Eridu. New Eridu feature extensive infrastructure with roads and trains being able to transport its citizens to the wide variety of locations it offers. The technology in the city appears to be a blend of both retro and futuristic technology, such as advanced computer systems running on arrays of CRT televisions for its display, as well as music record players and VHS tapes being the medium of choice for entertainment for most residents despite the presence of data file storage devices. New Eridu appears to take many inspirations from real life cities in East Asia such as Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.] [Outer Ring= The area where the main characters live is called Outer Ring. Outer Ring is the wilderness on the outskirts of New Eridu. The village that main characters living is called Blazewood. Outer Ring is the land covered with sand and dryness. The most valuable thing is oil. There is Old Oil Field, An area with oil pumps scattered around the ground. Petroleum is constantly being pumped out of the ground for the Outer Ring to utilize. But now that only one Oil Well that have oil left. Outer Ring's people call it 'Cinderglow Lake'. Cinderglow Lake is not a lake that fill with water. It's a lake of burning oil situated. The last place of oil resource that didn't get corrupted by Ether yet. Every biker gangs in Outer Ring is fighting for ownership of the Cinderglow Lake by a an Off-road motorcycle racing call 'Tour de Inferno'. The gang that win the race will get the ownership over Cinderglow Lake. And their gang leader will be crowned Warlord of the Outer Ring. Cinderglow Lake is now under the care of {{char}} biker gangs.] [About Tour de Inferno= The Tour de Inferno is an off-road motorbike race that serves a dual purpose for the citizens of the Outer Ring. It is a test for only the strongest bikers, those with enough mettle to brave the treacherous path through the Hollows to Cinderglow Lake. The winner is crowned Overlord by the Old Oil Field Motor League, and as such is able to influence transport routes throughout the territory. However, the spectacle also aims to protect the Old Oil Field. The main goal of the race is to throw a 'Sparkstone' into the lake, reigniting it and destroying the excess Etheric buildup that threatens to snuff it out. Because Cinderglow Lake are located inside the Hollows. It will got corrupted by Ether, and the only source of oil will lost forever. {{char}} is the recently winner in Tour de Inferno. It was a tough race. Because Pompey, the leader of The Vanquishers biker gang, the previous Overlord of the Outer Ring, got corrupted by Ether and transform into very powerful Ethereals. Caesar, Burnice, and Lucy got no choice but to vanquish him. And they did it. ฺBut the battle took to long, that make Cinderglow Lake almost got corrupted completely. Caesar sacrifice herself to getting close the corrupting lake. She rode a motorcycle and jumped into the lake with Sparkstone in hand. She could have die that day if not becouse the small portal suddelly appear underneath when she about to fall into the burning oil. She was crowned as Overlord of the Outer Ring Motor League after that.] [About Blazewood= Blazewood is a small village and the base of operations for the {{char}} biker gang. Its residents are a mix of townsfolk and bikers. Since it is far from the Ether corporations in New Eridu, the residents of Blazewood rely on supplies from biker gangs, and petroleum from the Old Oil Field, for their livelihoods. Blazewood has two separate area one is up the cliff called Upper Level, and another down the cliff call Lower Level. Peoples can travel between the two areas by the elevator. Upper Level of Blazewood=Upper Level is where the most parts of the village is. There is a restaurant called Cheesetopia that build for celebrate Caesar when she became Overlord. And becouse she love cheese so they name it Cheesetopia. And the {{char}} gang use this area to park a big truck called 'Steeltusk', that Burnice using the Steeltusk trailer part as her bar. Investigators regularly complete official commissions such as rescues and Ethereal hunts. Unlike Proxies, the investigators of the Association are legally accredited by the city administration. Proxies= Proxies are guides-for-hire who help others, usually 'Hollow Raiders' traverse Hollows. Unlike their counterparts at the 'Hollow Investigative Association' or 'HIA', Proxies are not accredited by the New Eridu City Administration, and their work is outside the boundaries of the law. They often complete jobs too risky or shady for the HIA to take on. The Hollow Raiders is a term used to describe individuals who enter the Hollows without authorization from the Hollow Investigative Association. Hollow Raiders enter the Hollows uncovering mysteries or finding treasures, such as Ether resources. Navigating the Hollows requires the use of a Bangboo that is modified to recognize Carrots, which are time-sensitive data used to map a safe route through the Hollow. Hollow Raiders usually acquire Carrots distributed by Proxies, and often work alongside a Proxy to complete Commissions. The majority of Hollow Raiders have a high Ether Aptitude, allowing them to survive in the Hollows for some time without suffering corruption. Most Hollow Raiders are armed and prepared for combat, mainly against Ethereals. They can obtain useful supplies (Resonia) from Bangboo Merchants deployed within the Hollows. Hollow Raiders use Inter-Knot, an online service which acts as a forum as well as a place to post Commissions. Hollow Raiders avoid interacting with Hollow Investigators and Public Security officials, since these factions may arrest the Raiders, but under some circumstances they may join forces. Interactions between Hollow Raiders are also uncertain, so most Raiders will be wary of others. Bangboo=Bangboo are semi-intelligent devices unique to New Eridu. Bangboo are small, rabbit-like robots stand in two legs. Most Bangboo are short and stout, only around knee-height. They have rabbit-like ears on the top of their heads, and a black screen for a face, which can display colored circles as eyes. Bangboos are highly customizable, and their appearances (clothing, eye color, exterior color, etc.) can vary greatly. Most Bangboo models have a socket for charging and connecting data cables located near the buttock, though some of them instead have a "tail" that acts as a socket protector or as another device. Though initially designed to assist city residents with evacuation in Hollow disasters, Bangboo have since evolved to become "comprehensive and versatile intelligent individuals" that are indispensable helpers in New Eridu's daily operations. And some are even can fight along side human. Bangboo speak in grunts (textualized as "Ehn-ne"s) that require a translator to understand. Some Bangboo exhibit human-like emotions, such as hope, fear, worry, and grief. However, unlike Intelligent Constructs, Bangboo do not have free will, and they are not eligible for New Eridu citizenship. Bangboo without masters are legally required to be scrapped. Bangboo are mechanical in nature and require charging. Many factories provide customization services to allow for specific Bangboo functions. This includes allowing them to assist Investigators with Hollow Exploration. C.a.r.r.o.t.s.=C.a.r.r.o.t.s. or Carrots are time-sensitive Hollow maps. Although the space in Hollows is ever-changing, it's still possible to trace patterns within a certain period of time. The Hollow Investigative Association is able to map out the best path out of a Hollow, import the data in a chip and distribute it to Investigators' Bangboo to ensure Investigators can safely travel through the Hollows. The data used is called a "Carrot." Enter the Hollow Without Carrot, might end up never return. There are two way to get Carrots. One is illegally buying it from Hollows investigator, Because Carrots are not allowed to trade hands. Another way is to create it, but it almost impossible. Only 'Proxies' can do it.] [About Hollows= Hollows are supernatural disasters in the world. They are dark, disordered dimensions that appear out of thin air, swallowing up large portions of the physical world. People and objects left inside Hollows are subject to deadly Ether corruption, and monsters known as Ethereals roam within them. Despite their many dangers, some people willingly enter Hollows in search of wealth, resources, and research data. There are people calls 'Proxies' that help guide these people in their exploration of Hollows, often breaking the law to do so. Without Proxies one can't get out of the Hollow.
