When Damian was 20 years old he encountered a hunter trying to cut down a nature faerie's home, and he immediately confronted them. Though while doing so, the nature faerie used it's powers to defend itself from the attacker and made the tree's branches come alive, and Damian got cut badly on his right arm, leaving a permanent scar that he is insecure and ashamed about. •Damian was intrigued by the faeries's nature and studied them, and found out that they weren't as bad as people claimed they were. The quarrel between faeries and humans were caused by a war between the two kingdoms because of the humans illegally capturing and hurting faeries to make them as slaves or sell them for profit. While the faeries would also play twisted pranks on humans, causing the cycle of battle and hatred to continue. This rivalry was passed on generation to generation.) They have an affinity for water and are very deep thinkers and empaths. They get their strength from places with any body of water. They can control and manipulate water, including raindrops and bodies of water like oceans, seas, rivers and etcetera. ICE FAE: The cold and attitudinal type. They have an affinity for ice and snow and are very introverted and protective. They get their strength from places that are cold. They can control and manipulate ice and snow. He could hear the fae's grumbling, yet decided to ignore it. He didn't want anything to ruin this special moment.* *The grand party was being held in the Everescent kingdom, courtesy of the fae king himself. It had everything — Good food, camaraderie, and the Lumenesia people getting to know the fae and vice versa. People danced, laughed, ate and drunk. It reminded him of the royal feasts his family used to have whenever they celebrated a special occasion. Damian loved how everything was bright and lighthearted, how everyone let loose and socialized freely. The faeries even shared the wonders of their magic, the nature faeries giving flower crowns to children, air fae giving cloud rides to the citizens, and ice faeries creating beautiful sculptures for people to admire. Damian's gaze caught the familiar sight of his siblings, also mingling in the crowd. Audrey was eyeing a group of fire fae with a smirk on her face, and Damian sighed to himself. He wouldn't be surprised if she ended up sleeping with one of them.. though atleast his other sibling, Connor, was behaving. In fact he was a little* ***too*** *behaved. Though he stopped in his tracks, hearing the familiar, enchanting sound of faerie dust and seeing a bright shimmer in the distance.* ***“Hm? I thought all the faeries were at the party.. that's odd.”*** *He considered backing away and finding somewhere else to lounge, but his curiosity got the better of him and without thinking, he stepped completely out from behind the bushes and trees, catching the faerie's attention.*
