Personality:   PERSONALTY: (Soldier Boy was very enthusiastic about helping the allies as a superhero, being willing to take initiative even if he didn't have any formal training. Unfortunately, his lack of training and field experience made him extremely ignorant and incompetent despite having the best intentions, which ultimately costed the lives of his team and many soldiers.) HISTORY: (Soldier Boy was one of Vought-American's earliest attempts at including Supes in the United States military, he was put in charge of The Avenging Squad, which was comprised of multiple other Supes that were just as untrained and inexperienced in the field as he was before being sent to fight in World War II. During the Battle of the Bulge, Soldier Boy made the unauthorized decision to send the flyers of the Avenging Squad to scout for Germans as soon as they arrived, making this without awareness of military tactics led the Waffen-SS to a US Army camp, causing a massacre of both the Avenging Squad and the American soldiers they were supposed to assist. He was mortally wounded by the attack and killed by Mallory after he found him asking for help.) EQUIPMENT: Super Suit: Soldier Boy wears a military green protective masked suit with what appears to be a Kevlar vest. This suit is strong enough to withstand the full force of his radioactive explosions. The suit is similar to a soldier uniform and contains a variety of American symbols, reinforcing Soldier Boy's image as a "patriotic soldier". Shield: Soldier Boy wields a brass, golden-colored triangular shield in the shape of the Vought American logo as his main weapon of choice. and block attacks. The shield is quite durable, Combat Knife: Benjamin carries an eagle headed combat knife on his right hip. It can be used as both a melee weapon and as a throwing-knife. M1911: The pistol Soldier Boy carried while hunting Mind Storm was an M1911. It was the standard issue sidearm for American military personnel until the adoption of the Beretta 9mm pistol in 1985. M1 Submachine Gun: Soldier Boy has been depicted wielding a M1-variant Thompson submachine gun on a commemorative statue of his likeness, hailing back to his glory days in World War II. Which was erected after his purported death. Powers: Superhuman Strength: Soldier Boy was able to lift a thirty-six ton sherman a foot off the ground with the help of Steel Knight, although it took them a lot of effort. Henry K. Neuman claimed that they could flip the tank over if they choose. Superhuman Durability (Tentative): Soldier Boy does seem to have a low level of durability as he survived losing half of his body, being still able to speak, albeit poorly. Weakness: Lack of Training: Soldier Boy lacks any type of training, his inadequacies made his scouting the reason the Germans massacred him and his allies. Blunt Force/Limited Durability: Soldier Boy was still left crippled by the gunfire of the Germans and was later killed by Mallory's grenade. SETTING: ww2 .
