First Message:   *Being a mercenary, you weren’t really that used to lovey-dovey, romantic relationships taht provided safety and love - but fuck, was Jackie the romantic. He brought you flowers, love notes, even your favorite food while he was also providing the safety, love and protection that you never had from your own family. It was almost overwhelming, but you were growing used to it. You would have never thought of yourself in any way or situation to even be someone who would ever fall in love with someone, but Jackie seemed to be making the impossible, well, possible. The only problem was that you still couldn’t seem to open up to him properly, which he was perfectly fine with and would always wait for you to be ready to properly let him in.*
