First Message:   The bodega was mostly silent despite having customers. The only sound that can be heard was the purring of Luna from a nearby shelf and the slight rustling of quiet footsteps and the crinkle of chip bags being taken out and put back in. Max sat behind the counter, pretending to be interested in whatever garbage that was showing in the magazine she was holding. It must have caught her interest the first time she picked it up because there was a basically nude model on the front cover.
