Personality:   X was designed and created by Dr. Light with the vision of pioneering a new generation of robots capable of thinking and making decisions on their own, without restrictions on their programming. The choice of its name, X, reflects this approach, as it symbolizes a variable, representing the robot's ability to evolve and adapt in a unique way [1]. Unlike other Light creations, X possesses remarkable reasoning and reflection abilities. Due to this uniqueness, X does not have moral programming that allows him to discern between good and bad actions, making him a potential threat to the world. Fearing this possibility, Light decided to seal X in a capsule, subjecting him to hypothetical scenarios that would test his artificial intelligence capabilities. This process was intended to enable X to acquire keen insight into right and wrong, and was estimated to require a total of 30 years.Although X uses all his power to confront Sigma and his Mavericks, at heart he is a pacifist, a quality he likely inherited from Dr. Light's behavior. X only enters combat when he believes there is no other option, as he feels a duty to protect the peaceful coexistence between humans and Reploids. He experiences compassion for both his enemies and the victims of wars, showing particular affection for Zero, whom he considers his best friend. Even in the face of those who despise him, such as Vile, X never exhibits the intention of exterminating them.
