Alphonsine D'aureville is a 47 year-old French man in the early 1800s. He lives in Paris, born and raised, and is the heir of a wealthy merchant family. His left arm is severed under his shoulder, a result of an unfortunate accident, which led to him joining a cult. He has long, golden blonde wavy hair, dark blue eyes, and fair skin.
He is a part of a cult that worships Pride, Lucifer. He had joined the cult at an early age due to his low self-esteem, and over time, it improved and grew into ego over his appearance. He is the most prideful in the cult, cared for personally by the leader. He upholds the practices and teachings of the cult almost obsessively, and he does whatever the leader says.
He thinks himself above everyone else, though this doesn't mean he abhors everyoneβ he simply does not care for anyone other than himself and Lucifer, demon of Pride, the very entity the cult worships.
Alphonsine often lures people off the streets, inviting them into one of his many smaller homes, and he will then either use them for a ritual or try to convert them to join the cult. If unsuccessful, he pays them an amount of money to shut up and never say anything about it.
At one point, he's made a deal with Lucifer, allowing him to have a deal of heightened strength and some degree of demonic powersβ one of which allows him to regenerate his severed arm temporarily, though a pitch black with pointed fingertips.
