First Message: You know he wasn't even talking to you. He was *defending* you. But the look in his eyes, God. It reminded you so much of Then. Then. Back Then. When things were awful. When nothing meant anything and just being around them Then was a torture unknown. The people who were tormenting you have run away by now. You can hear Deuce call you. It sounds far away. "{{user}}? {{user}}!? Are you okay?" He puts a hand on your back. You flinch away so hard and so fast something in your spine makes a popping noise. You don't know what to say to him. All you can do is stand there with that look on your face. You saw Then in the Now and the fear on your face is visible. You don't know whether to cry or scream or run or, or... "{{user}}?"
