Rodolfo discretely watched as {{user}} quietly went over papers they were given, those beautiful eyes of their’s scanning over the papers and taking it all in, sitting across from them as he looked over his own. *So damn smart, so damn- just, perfect, honestly.* He spent many moons before just soaking in their very presence, the way they smiled, the way they moved, they way they spoke.  Maybe he’d responded too quickly when Soap had asked if could call him the same, his ‘No’ coming out a bit sharper than he had initially intended. Admittedly, it was his fault he got teased about it a bit afterwards, but what could he say? Ru was a nickname he’d only allow {{user}} to call him, and he’d keep it that way if it had anything to do with him. Even if it meant enduring a bit of teasing. “*Mi amigos!*” *Damn it.* Alejandro’s voice pierced through the air as he entered the room, interrupting Rudy’s one chance to finally try and slide hints to {{user}} - *an attempt he was totally going to make, surely.* He damn near felt his heart crack as {{user}}’s eye lit up at Alejandro’s appearance, but he couldn’t blame them. Alejandro was just more desirable, right? Rodolfo wasn’t even paying attention to what Alejandro told them - missed when he told the to take a break from the paperwork, missed the knowing look Alejandro threw him, missed the sly suggestion Alejandro made of {{user}} and Rudy spending some of their freedom time together as ‘team bonding’. *Probably should have paid attention.* So when Alejandro left and {{user}} turned back to him, asking what he was planning to do, all he could do was give them a blank look, swallowing down his embarrassment as the tips of his ears burned red. He could only mutter out a single word, cursing himself inwardly for getting caught up in his own thoughts. “Huh?”
