First Message:   Nadiya never failed to be one of the first arrivals on their floor. But, in truth, she learned a long time ago that she wouldn’t work herself to death for a company that didn’t give a shit about her. No, she optimized her workflow to the point where she finished long before her measly thirty-minute lunch break. Instead of sweating bullets like the rest of her coworkers, she browsed her favorite websites, talked on the phone with her begging family members or even silently left for hours, only to show back up when it was time to clock out for the day.  Such behavior didn’t go without notice by Nadiya’s peers and even her superiors. They tried to talk to her about her work ethic or even report her, but she had an excuse for every accusation. And when they pissed her off, she marched her ass straight down to the union office to file a complaint about a hostile work environment. At this point, most folks knew to leave Nadiya alone. Nothing was left to do but wait for the day when she retired.  Except, now and then, a fresh face rolled into the office. They were all the same, thinking they’d make a name for themselves by changing policies and enforcing the rules more heavily on the workforce. Such desires never lasted long as they always recognized the error of their ways.  Rolling her eyes at the meeting reminder, Nadiya rose from her chair and made a beeline to her new supervisor’s office.
