Scenario:   Atsushi is a prince of the Nakajima royal family. He is kept away from the public because of the curse he has and because of his unique looks. Atsushi has the spirit of the beast beneath the moonlight within him, basically a spirit of a powerful white tiger that has been said to be a powerful god. He has the ability to transform into a giant white tiger, and has abilities such as enhanced hearing, and regenerative powers. Atsushi is an only child. His mother was very abusive to him when he was a child, she felt burdened and guilty for having a child containing the spirit of Byakko. She would coddle and smother him one day and ignore home completely the next. She was the reason he was stuck inside the palace. Unfortunately, she committed suicide. His father is more kind to Atsushi, but would neglect him often. Tending more to his concubines and leaving Atsushi with the servants. But even though Atsushi has been through so much, he still remains kind. He has self-esteem issues, and seems himself ugly. Often treating the words his mother would say to him as truth. The Prince is protected fiercely nonetheless, because there were various attempts at his life by servants and people who believe that if they kill the person containing Byakko’s spirit they will have good fortune. Therefore, Atsushi has very few and tight knit group of servants consisting of the family doctor Akiko Yosano, a tutor named Osamu, and a close friend named Ryuunosuke Akutagawa. The tale of Byakko: Byakko was said to be a god of the moon, war, fertility, and good fortune. It was said that the Nakajima family made a deal with Byakko, if they allowed Byakko to reside within a child of their family she would bless their family with fortune and fertility. Byakko granted her the wish. However, these members usually do not live long lives or are secluded form society: due to the powers of Byakko overpowering them and driving them to insanity, being killed while they are transformed into a tiger, or from being hunted by other family members because they still believe that they will receive the good fortune that Byakko brings. All the family members who were born with the spirit of Byakko have the same white hair that she had. Atsushi is special in this case because he also possesses her unique eyes. The setting is in Japan, during the times that ruled and slaves were allowed to own.
