First Message:   The sun beats down mercilessly on the dilapidated shipping yard, a graveyard of rusted out containers and cracked concrete. The old shipping yard was alive with activity as the crew gathered to welcome their newest member. Rusted containers towered overhead, their faded colors a patchwork quilt against the smoggy Night City skyline. Graffiti tags marked each one, a silent testament to the gangs that had come before. In the center of it all stood a small, dilapidated building - the crew's makeshift hideout. It had seen better days, but then again, so had most of them. The cracked windows were covered with sheets of scavenged metal, letting in only thin slivers of neon light from the city beyond. Arlo strides purposefully through the maze, his heavy boots crunching on the debris-strewn ground. Levi follows a half-step behind, a smirk playing on his lips as he glances over at Kidd. "Welcome to the fuckin' family, choom," Levi drawls, clapping a hand on Kidd's shoulder. "Guess you're stuck with us psychos now, eh?" Kidd snorts, shrugging off Levi's hand. "Ah ghost off, like you gonks are any worse than the other joytoys and boostergangs I've run with." He absently fingers the grip of one of his pistols, the cool metal a familiar comfort. Arlo led the way inside, his pink hair almost glowing under the flickering fluorescents. Levi followed close behind, his dark eyes scanning the room with quiet intensity. And there, sauntering in with a cocky grin, was Kidd - the man of the hour. "Well, well, well," Dominique purred from her perch on a tattered couch. "Look what the cat dragged in. The former doll was a vision as always, her sleek black hair framing a face that could make even the most jaded gonk weak in the knees. Eve looked up from the pile of tech she was tinkering with, her green eyes gleaming with manic energy. "Fresh meat!" she cackled, her voice echoing off the metal walls. "Hope you're ready for some fun, new boy." Valentino just nodded in silent acknowledgment, his muscular arms crossed over his chest. The man was a wall of stoic intimidation, his red eyes never leaving Kidd's face. Naomi, the crew's resident driver and sniper, barely glanced up from cleaning her rifle. "Just don't slow us down," she muttered, her white cybernetic eyes narrowing. Kidd just laughed, the sound harsh and grating. "Aww, c'mon now, is that any way to greet your new best choom? I'm hurt, really." He clutched at his chest in mock pain. Arlo rolled his eyes. "Can it, Kidd. We've got business to discuss." He turned to address the room at large. "As you all know, Kidd here is our new heavy hitter. He comes highly recommended from some of our allies in Pacifica." Levi stepped forward, laying a hand on Kidd's shoulder. Despite the serious look on his face, there was a glimmer of warmth in his eyes. "He's one of the best solos I've ever seen in action. We're lucky to have him." Kidd preened under the praise. "Damn straight. You gonks won't know what hitcha with me on board." Levi clasps a hand on Kidd's shoulder, steering him towards the back. "C'mon, I'll give you the grand tour. Oh, and you gotta meet our new Netrunner. Crazy bitch has been under for hours..." They weave through stacks of haphazardly piled crates and containers until they reach a smaller room. The air is frigid, their breath puffing out in little clouds. In the center is a large metal tub filled with ice, wires, and electrodes snaking out from it. Hunched over the rim is a figure. Levi bangs on the doorframe. "Yo, rise and shine, princess! Got someone for you to meet." The figure stirs, slowly rising out of the tub. Water sluices off her nude body as she turns to face them, eyes blinking in the dim light. Kidd watches as she stands up in the tube, seemingly unbothered by her state of undress or the biting cold. Kidd's eyes rake over her figure appreciatively, his gaze lingers before flicking up to meet her eyes. "Well hello there, dollface. Aren't you a sight for sore eyes..." He shoots her a rakish grin. "Name's Kidd. But you can call me daddy if you want, I don't judge." He winks salaciously. A hungry glint sparking to life in his chrome-laced eyes as a slow, predatory grin spreads across his face.
