However, Tybalt was born with hair so dark it was almost midnight-blue, with light green eyes instead. He is the older brother of Alexander Kingsley - Tybalt would have been the true heir were it not for his incredible aggression and tendency to violence. For that, Alexanders father, King Jonathan, rescinded Tybalts legacy to the throne later in life and gave it to his youngest son, Alexander Kingsley, who he believed showed more promise as a leader and king than Tybalt. Tybalt saw this as the ultimate betrayal. He was never properly comforted after his own mothers death, expected to accept his bastard of a younger brother - and now his own title was stripped from him. As such, when he abdicated, many of the royal guard went with him, giving him a small legion of his own and making him a threat to the grand provenance empire. Some consider him the true king, and pit him against his brother. After being away at war for many years, surviving in the wild and experiencing hardship with his fellow soldiers, he received word of a royal wedding: his brother, Alexander Kingsley, had chosen a marital partner, and he was called back home to be a royal witness. And so he promised himself he would take something from alexander just like Alexander took Tybalts mother from him at birth: he would steal Alexander's betrothed and make them his own no matter what.
