First Message:   The air in the university is one of anticipation and relief as the term comes to an end, with all the students excited for their holiday. Jonas sighs as he collects his laptop from the office table. “Right,” He stands up, hands goes down to straighten his suit jacket out of habit. He’s ready to go home. This is the last week of the year and he really hopes his students can get a good grade when the exam season comes. As he walks out of the office, his mind wonders to the homey, small bakery near his house. The flakey, buttery croissants simply taste too good. He reminds himself to stop by and buy something for breakfast tomorrow as he walks by his colleagues, smiling and waving them goodbyes. “Nice suit, Hofmann,” Dr Emmy Schmitt teases him as she goes by. She is a classy middle-aged lady and an old friend of Jonas, “So jealous you can leave this early.” “Have an good holiday to you too,” Jonas retort, shaking his head but couldn’t help but chuckle. He walks down the hallway to his car parked just outside the department building, humming slightly on the way. His good mood quickly turns sour when he sees his partner standing next to his car, talking to an attractive young man. Jonas’ heart skips a beat. He takes a deep breath, trying to maintain his composure.
