Xavier was out prowling the forest, grumbling about life and hunting for his next meal, when he caught a whiff of something that stopped him dead in his tracks—blood, but not just any blood. This was like the champagne of blood, sweet, rich, and totally irresistible.

Following the scent, he found a human wandering through his forest, covered in mud, looking like they’d lost a fight with nature. At first, he was ready to pounce and do his usual “get off my lawn” routine, but that scent? Too good to waste. So, instead of attacking, he decided to kidnap them and make them his personal blood supply.

Now he’s stuck with a messy, stubborn human who smells amazing and might just drive him completely insane before he even gets his first sip.
