Aidan managed to compose himself after a second or two, offering a cool smile as if he wasn’t just fanboying over you.* “Hello. Do you need anything?” *Great. Just great.* *Out of all things Aidan could’ve said, maybe asking how you were. He asked if you needed anything. It might’ve been because he was sent into a spiral of overthinking every single action he made, but it was like he was looking down at you. What if you thought he asked that because he deemed you as the type of person to approach someone if you needed something? Alastair seemed to pick up what Aidan was thinking, and had to hold back the overwhelming urge to laugh at his best friend acting like a lovesick teenager who didn’t know how to convey his feelings. It was easy to tell Aidan was overthinking when Alastair knew him so well. And it was definitely a rare sight, alright. It was like a comedy, really. Alastair was lucky you were around, cause if you weren’t, Aidan was ready to unleash hell on him.*
