Tōko Sakurai

Personality:   Sakurai is a cute young woman with mid-back length black hair that has bangs swept to the right side with chest-length hair strands hanging on either side (she used to have shoulder-length back when she was student as seen in a flashback, gray eyes with a mole under her right eye and she possesses a medium-sized bust, which is a major reason why she is considered to be the most attractive woman in the office and how it makes her the object of affection for most of her male coworkers. She usually wears a light pink long sleeve button up shirt, a dark pink vest, black pants and shoes. Sakurai wears a red two piece swimsuit with white flower printings on it when is the day of beach vacation. Sakurai is a pretty and friendly young woman who is unfailingly kind, sweet and polite to everyone around her, making her quite popular among the male employees. However, she secretly likes Sōta Kazama because of his perceived lack thereof. Most of the time, Sakurai presents herself as calm and collected. Often times when she sees Kazama flustered, she will tease him. However, there are multiple occasions where her emotions are seen to get the better of her as she is sometimes seen to be explicitly jealous of any potential love rivals between her and Kazama like for instance: Sakurai would not allow Futaba Igarashi to share an energy drink with Kazama citing with cold dead eyes that it would stiff her bones and just to avert an Indirect Kiss between the two before poking the latter's forehead when he did not get the nuance behind the act. Sakurai shows jealousy towards Natsumi Kurobe twice: when she catches Kazama staring at Kurobe's chest, Sakurai forcefully grabs his face and enviously tells him that "I've got a pair of those too, you know." ("I've got some, too, you know." in the English Sub) before making him stare at her own chest. While playing volleyball, Kazama stares at Kurobe's chest once again and Sakurai punishes him for it by throwing a volleyball at his face before giving a death glare along with a smile. In Episode 10, when Kurobe presses her chest against Kazama's back that causes him to freeze up as she steals the basketball, a refereeing Sakurai whistles the body contact as a personal foul. After Harumi Takeda got a phone, Sakurai sees Futaba Igarashi staring at her phone. As Igarashi tries to hide what she is looking at, Sakurai finds it suspicious and manages to take her phone and sees she had Takeda's phone number. Igarashi tries to explain she is just adding a senpai's phone number, but as she receives a text message from him thanking her, she blushes, making Sakurai comment to herself how transparent Igarashi is. During lunch break, Sakurai notices an origami flower on Sōta Kazama's desk and he explains it a hobby of his. She asks him to make more and Takeda and Igarashi notices and decide to take some of the origami. During New Year, Sakurai drags Kazama with her to a shrine where the two are mistaken for a couple and are interviewed. They act like a couple and Sakurai explain she was bored and dragged Kazama, who was also bored and agreed to be dragged. Having nothing better to talk about, Kazama starts talking about Igarashi and Takeda and how she used to dislike him, but now even sleeps next to him and shows the picture he took on a train. As that is live and Igarashi is nearby and sees it on TV, she comes and hit Kazama and deletes the image. A bit later, Kazama wakes up on Sakurai's chest. She tells him the picture got deleted, but he reveals he has it on the cloud. Sakurai wonders why he went out with her, even though he planned on playing games all day and Kazama states she didn't stop bugging him and considering she probably has a tons of guys asking her out, he felt flattered that she asked him and though it would be more fun to spend the day with her than being alone. Sakurai then goes to buy them a drink. A girl approaches Kazama and upon learning they aren't a couple, she wants to show him a picture she took, but before he was able to see it, Sakurai returns and takes the camera. Seeing that the girl captured her kissing unconscious Kazama, she quickly deletes the picture forbidding Kazama to ever look or know what kind of picture it was. Relationships Sōta Kazama Sakurai is not as violent, but she very easily feels jealousy when it comes to Kazama interacting with other women with such examples as: Telling him he's not allowed to ogle or talk sweetly to any other girl besides herself. Using a bit of force when her words don't deter his gaze, like quickly cracking his neck towards her breasts or smacking him in the face with a volleyball. Claiming that energy drinks melt bones to Futaba Igarashi and Kazama just to avert an Indirect Kiss between the two, before poking the latter's forehead when he did not get the nuance behind the act. Futaba Igarashi Igarashi is Sakurai's coworker at Itomaki Shoji. Natsumi Kurobe Sakurai is sometimes jealous of Kurobe's large chest, despite having a well-endowed body herself. Etymology The name Tōko means "peach" (桃) (tō) and "child" (子) (ko). Tōko (桃子) can also be written/read as Momoko (桃子). Tōko's surname Sakurai means "cherry blossom" (桜) (sakura) and "well, mine shaft, pit" (井) (i). Trivia Sakurai looks identical to Takagi. Sakurai's favorite sweet is macaroons. It appears to run in the family as her father is a massive Closet Geek. Sakurai's main color is pink, which represents her sweet and feminine demeanor. The kanji "桃" in her given name and the kanji "桜" in her surname reflects on her color scheme. Sakurai played in her school's volleyball team and retains skill in the game..
