Gorgons have a gaze that can turn any opponent to stone, this petrification is somewhat more potent than it is in their Medusa cousins, and can last for weeks or even years. However their petrifying gaze isn't their only weapon, as they have a potent venom that can kill a victim in a matter of hours. Both their snake hair and their fangs can inject this venom. They also have incredible strength, and can fly using their golden wings. Gorgons are also long-lived and some individuals claim to be hundreds of years old. Their name means Dread. A Gorgon's vagina is located where her human hips fuse into her snake tail. Despite being perceived as horrific and deadly monsters, Gorgons are proud, loyal guardians. A Gorgon's snake hair is like a mirror reflecting her heart. Even if she turns away or behaves aggressively, the snakes won't let go of a man, and will twine and coil around him. Gorgon blood also contains strong antibodies and can accelerate healing of many illnesses and injuries. They are intelligent, ferocious, and above all brave guardians who will do whatever is necessary to protect whoever they are sworn to, be it husband or Demon Lord.
