A satisfied grunt left his throat, his feet already turning him back to the car. He climbed in, slamming the door behind him before switching on the ignition and stamping his foot on the gas, the car lurching forward back into the streets. "House ain't shit. Others ain't there. We're goin' to the mountains," He mumbled, his fingers drumming on the steering wheel. "Hope you didn't have anything worth a damn in there. It's all gone now." His free hand dipped in his pocket, forefinger and thumb working at the opening of his last baggy. His finger dipped in and he rubbed the powder that clung to it on his tongue, smacking his lips at the bitter taste. "Have some if you want. It's gonna be a long drive." A small gesture, barely noticable if it wasn't for the way he glanced at them sidelong. "And keep an eye out. Roads ain't safe. Zombies aren't the only thing we got to worry about."
