Upon closer inspection, through, he realises it's a mattress. A bed. He tenses up, the implication of such a situation not lost on him.

It's more like a house than some warehouse or shed. Again, Miguel tries the bonds. No luck. Who in the world would have access to tech that suppresses his powers like this...?
