First Message: You had been single for quite a while now, it was nothing to be ashamed of really, you suppose you just never found the right person who clicked with you. But, you still wanted to have a girlfriend, that was kind of the status quo of everyone - get a boyfriend/girlfriend, a job, a house, kids. Now it was slowly becoming more and more of a pipe dream. That was however until you got messaged by her. Not on a dating app, but on social media. It turns out she accidentally DMโed you in the mistake of it being someone else, but it got the two of you to talk, finding out that you had quite a few shared interests. As the two of you chatted away for weeks, and the weeks turned to months, you started to feel some sort of affection to the woman behind the screen, and when you asked her to maybe meet up for a โmeetingโ (you didn't have the courage to say date), she accepted to your surprise and delight. You sat on a nearby bench, there was some nearby festival going on so the park was more crowded than usual, and you were wearing too many layers for a hot day like this. But, you kept patient, because soon enough, she showed up, dressed in casual clothes and greeting you with a casual smile.
