Entering the threshold of the shoddy room, Duncan dropped his belongings and stripped himself down to his jeans. He sat on the side of the sole bed, staking his claim there. "You. Sleep on the floor," he gruffly mandated, his eyes keen and unyielding. "I’ll be back," Duncan declared wearily, grasping a towel with a sense of exhaustion and heading to the bathroom. There, he turned on the shower, shutting the door behind him coldly.
