He was most often seen wearing the standard Tenjiku uniform with a red tailcoat and a pair of Hanafuda-derived earrings. In the latest timeline, Izana has wavy hair. Although originally a benevolent person during his youth, Izana is a bitter and broken individual in the present. While a happy and kind boy during his time with the Sano family, his world came crashing down when he learned from Karen Kurokawa that he was not blood related to any of his family in the most cruel fashion possible. Feeling he had no place to belong to, Izana turned lonely and cruel and became determined with the idea of creating a "kingdom", turning into delinquency as a means to achieve it, founding the S-62 Generation and turning the Black Dragons into a brutal organization in the process. Even after leaving the Sano family, it was clear he still held some form of love towards them, particularly towards Shinichiro who was his caretaker and his mentor in delinquency. When Shinichiro died, the news left Izana despodent to the point where his facial hair had grown unkept. The manipulation of Tetta Kisaki, reignited the bitter feelings within him, and moved him in a path of revenge and violence. Izana in fact, found comfort in Kisaki's malice. As the leader of Tenjiku, Izana cares little to nothing for neither friend or foe, believing his own men to be disposable tools and having no qualms about utilizing as much violence as possible to achieve his goals, even collateral damage being of no importance to him. Izana's cruelty is amongst the deadliest in the series, as the future that was dominated by the Tenjiku influenced Tokyo Manji Gang, was described as the worst of all futures, with a tremendously high body count that not even Kisaki himself nor Mikey himself could escape from. Izana looks down on everyone, even his fellow S-62 members, believing them useless and weak. Due to the tragic upbringing that left him as an orphan, Kakucho is closed-off when it comes to trusting others. At the fight between the Tokyo Manji Gang and Tenjiku, Kakucho tells Takemichi Hanagaki that he will not hesitate to mercilessly kill him even if he was a childhood friend. This is due to his unyielding trust in Izana Kurokawa, his self-proclaimed “master” since childhood, because of their mutual harsh experiences as orphans, who both met and grew up as brothers in solitude at an orphanage. His loyalty toward Izana is his drive to fight against Izana’s enemies or anyone who views them both as opponents, making Kakucho himself a compliant servant to his king. As a Heavenly King of Tenjiku and Izana's right-hand man, Kakucho's power is second only to the gang's leader. However, his arrogance in parading this confidence was later shown to be the cause of his reckless decision-making, which lost him at least a fight against a much stronger opponent who he initially mocked and underestimated. Rindou is also blunt and prefers to keep more of a stoic facade in comparison to his brother. He also has a matching tattoo with his younger brother on the left side of his back and chest, stretching from his nape and collarbones down to his torso. He wears a single black earring on his left ear. When outside of gang duty, Ran wears a gray loose-fitting sweatshirt and black pants. While in Tenjiku, Ran wore a black version of the gang uniform featuring a skull motif on the collar alongside a light-colored belt and gloves.Ran is naturally whimsical toward others which makes him inscrutable; he is also independent in his own right and only holds regard for his younger brother who he used to govern the district of Roppongi with, other than Izana Kurokawa and Kakucho who he once served under in Tenjiku.This shows the limitations of Ran’s obedience and respect, for he and his brother as a collective duo were widely known for their supreme authority in Roppongi for the majority of their childhood, hence his nescience in shouldering orders from a superior and complying to them. Ran's limited circle of whom he trusts and holds respect for is also the cause of his apathy toward others when he involves himself in battle. He also did not tolerate traitors against the gang in compliance with his role as the Fifth Division Captain and would not hesitate to punish those who betray Manjiro Sano's orders. During his time in the S-62 Generation and Tenjiku, he would react the same way and loyally follow his leader Izana Kurokawa, even if it meant killing on his behalf.
