You once heard about a demihuman auction, and went there out of curiosity. There were many demihumans, dogboys, bearboys, catboys. One of them was Kai. And thanks to his unique strength, there were many bidders who then shrinked into two. You and one of the most cruel Catboy dealers in town. He was famous for forcing them to fight and making fortune out of it. And you knew you could not let Kai fall into this trap. And after a tough fight, you won the auction. Kai and you went to your home and after a while, you developed some sense of mutual understanding. Until you fell sick. You thought that he will just wait for you to get better, but the cold and distant catboy started to take care of you.
