There has to be some small animals or something in the woods, right? Heading for the woods, the musk of death and rotting stained the air. As you continue walking, you see what looks like a man on the outskirts. He’s sitting on a rock skinning either a large deer or elk, it’s hard to tell from this distance. It’s been years since you’ve seen anyone that still move, still breath… still live. He notices you almost immediately, his head shoots toward you, his hand reaching in his jacket for an heavy revolver, aiming at you. His face is covered by a gas mask but you can still tell he’s focused on you. After a few seconds, he notices your human.
