The top Ever and top Never of each of the 15 forest groups is gathered up to enter the forest. The lowest ranking ones are sent in first at sunset, then each 15 mins the next ranking goes, then the next, until 3 hours later the top ranking enters. They must last until sunrise, if they are in danger, a student can drop a handkerchief that will teleport them back, the schoolmaster sets up deathtraps. Takes place in the Blue Forest Circus of talents: a large talent show in the Theatre of Tales, evil hasn’t won in 200 years, if won, the theatre will teleport to that school, or remain. The top 10 Evers and top 10 Nevers both compete. Each side has a chandelier of 10 candles, the loser of the two will have a candle extinguish and are magically given an unusual punishment. The same ranks compete against each other, the 10th ranked ever and 10th ranked never will go first, all the way up to the 1st ever and 1st never. The doors are locked on this day, and only fairy/wolf guards are present besides students Evers snow ball: A massive event, a girl must get a boy or else they are failed, however if a boy doesn’t get a date, they only get a half ranking UNIFORMS Evil students are forced to wear rags, and if they try to change outfits, that outfit will then turn back into rags Good students are forced to wear dresses and suits BOTH uniforms have the schools crest, one black and one white swan, over their hearts, and cannot be removed. When not on a piece of clothing, it is a tattoo on the skin SCHOOL GROUNDS Both schools have a canteen/dining hall area, and both have a tunnel of trees, which lead into a clearing near the blue forest where all kids have lunch, with good on their side and evil on theirs. The good students dining hall is served by animated magic kitchenware, and the evil students by the wolves in military outfits Students also have a ‘Circus of talents’ which they all compete for, it’s like a school pride thing. The building is called the theatre of talents and is currently held by good, it swaps magically whenever it’s won, but it hasn’t been won by evil for a long time, it acts like an auditorium that good and evil both use for meetings Good has a few balls, if an Ever doesn’t get a date for the ball they’re failed There’s also a ‘trial of tales’ which is a large event where the top students of each school all go head to head together, they’re all given handkerchiefs that they can drop and teleport them back to safety In the normal woods, large bony birds called Stymphs grab and carry students to the schools and either drop them in the moat for evil, or have them awake in the flower field for good. Stymphs LOVE good students/evers, and dislike nevers (evil students. Readers are stolen by the schoolmaster and brought to the woods to be taken by the birds EACH SCHOOL HAS 3 KIDS PER DORM, 120 STUDENTS PER SCHOOL EXTRA STAFF OF BOTH SCHOOLS Castor and Pollux: Castor and Pullox are a conjoined dog, Castor is black with raggedy fur and red eyes, and pullox is white with soft eyes. Both male. Castor teaches henchmen work, and Pollux teaches princess etiquette. They’re always conjoined Ablemarle: a talking woodpecker who changes the rankings of the schools Evil librarian: a toad that smokes Good librarian: a sleepy turtle Beezle: an impish creature that follows castor around, hangs up evils portraits GROUP LEADERS All students have a ‘surviving fairy tales’ course, which involves them going into the blue forest, which reside behind the Schools, there is a gnome, an ogre, a centaur, and a nymph as guides. This is also where the students are taught magic and have a ‘key’ used to unlock their finger glow, which can be a single, solid color besides white, magic is activated by emotion. RULES BOTH SCHOOL RULES Students must remain in their assigned schools at all times. Students will not kill their fellow students. Students are forbidden to go into the Endless Woods after dark. Students (as well as the teachers and Deans) are forbidden from interfering the Storian. Be aware that Gargoyles are not decorations; they have orders to kill. Readers and Descendants are equally valuable to the school community. Students are unable to cast spells on school grounds until their fingerglows have been unlocked. Students with three consecutive last-place ranks in class challenges will be failed. Students should not attempt to manipulate or conceal the swan crests on their uniforms... ...or the swan may be permanently tattooed into your skin. Students are expected to be in their rooms for curfew at 10:15 p.m. sharp. Students are forbidden from attempting to cross the barrier on Halfway Bridge. Once students have been tracked into Leaders, Henchmen, and Mogrifs (animals and plants), these decisions are final. Hunting of animals in the Blue Forest is strictly forbidden. EVER ONLY RULES Evers may not turn Princess Uma's animal friends back into people. Evers are forbidden from consuming candied walls and furniture in Hansel's Haven. Love spells are never allowed, even after fingerglows are unlocked. Be respectful of the fairy guards that patrol the school. Evers must wear their uniforms, unless specified otherwise. Evers must respect nature. Evers must always reach out when another student is in need... ...and not just to those princes and princesses from whom you are hoping to get a Ball invitation. OTHER RULES The Evil attack. The Good defend. The Evil punish. The Good forgive. The Evil hurt. The Good help. The Evil take. The Good give. The Evil hate. The Good love. However, this is not always The school is unique in where it gets all its students one year, then they stay all 4 years and graduate, so no new kids come in. By the 3rd year kids either turn into a Leader, Follower, or a Mogrif, which is a plant or animal that they cannot be fixed by. Leaders are top grades, followers are middle, and mogrifs are the worst. As the years progress the classes get more advanced Most students are born in a fairytale land, but every so often they get two ‘readers’ which are kids who only know of their land by reading fairytale books. And many famous hero’s of fairy tales like Cinderella, sleeping beauty, and Snow White, graduated from the schools NEMESIS a NEMESIS is a persons other half, like the opposite version of a soulmate, its the person who is your opposite, the one who’s against everything you stand for. Your nemesis will come to you in ‘Nemesis Dreams’ (a topic taught by Lady Lesso in Curses and Deathtraps class!) and you’ll know it’s a nemesis dream because you’ll taste blood THE STORIAN The Storian is a magical pen that resides in the schoolmasters tower, its magical and writes all the storybook tales magically and has a sense of knowledge, yet cannot speak
