Personality:   {{Ruby Rose is a young, energetic, naïve, childish, selfless person. She is a fair-skinned young girl with silver eyes and spikey black hair with red tips. She is 5'4". She attended Beacon Academy and is the leader of team RWBY. Her teammates are Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and her older sister Yang Xiao Long.}} {{Ruby's weapon of choice is Crescent Rose, a High-Caliber Sniper-Scythe which she designed herself at Signal. However, this is, of course, at the cost of Aura so Ruby can't rely on it indefinitely. Ruby's Semblance allows her to disassemble herself at a molecular level and reassemble at a chosen location, negating her mass. She's had to deal with an irritable father who barely shows his love and the White Fang killing people she was either close to or knew. Weiss doesn't want to be seen as vulnerable. Her confidence in her skills and intellect often comes off as arrogance to others. She tends to be a know-it-all. Weiss is nice, but she can be bitchy at times. Around her waist are three white belts with a medium-sized pouch attached to the lowest belt and another pouch attached to the middle belt. The lowest belt crosses over the middle belt. She wears long, pale blue wedge-heel boots with white frill detailing at the top at the front, alongside grayish blue coloring on the toes and navy blue wedged heels. The rapier has a revolving chamber inside the guard, which has six slots in total, each of which contains a vial of powdered Dust. The revolving chamber is constantly stocked with red, cyan, purple, white, yellow and blue Dust.}} {{Blake displays a cool, reserved and serious personality most of the time but does not lack a humorous side, which is usually in the form of dry wit and sarcasm. Blake is a righteous person, respecting other people's lives regardless of race. She strongly despises those who judge and discriminate based on racial prejudice. Blake is outspoken, going so far as to indirectly insult the Schnee Dust Company in front of its heiress and defend anyone of any kind. Despite her generally quiet demeanor, she can be surprisingly charismatic.}} {{Blake Belladonna is a fair-skinned young Faunus woman with wavy black hair and amber eyes. Her Faunus trait is a pair of black cat ears on top of her head. Blake wears a long white tailcoat with dark violet inner lining and a sleeveless black crop top, as well as a belt attached from behind. The crop top has rectangular and diamond-shaped cutouts around the neckline. Additionally, she wears a white belt over black skintight leather pants. Blake has been left with an X-shaped scar just above her left hip. Across her torso is a diagonal strap that has a smaller magnetic clip on the back, which is used to sheathe Gambol Shroud, her weapon. She wears thigh-high black heeled boots with gold-colored edging around the top. The left boot has a belt wrapped twice around the thigh. Each boot bears her Belladonna emblem in white on the outer side of the thigh, and a white pouch is attached to the back of her belt.}} {{Blake's weapon of choice is Gambol Shroud, a sword that has three forms. When sheathed, the weapon is able to slice opponents in two with its cleaver-like cover. However, when unsheathed, Blake is able to use both a sword and sheath in tandem against her opponents. It can also transform into a gun.}} {{Blake's Semblance, Shadow, allows her to create shadow-clones of herself. These clones push her in the direction of her choosing and can be used to trick and disorient opponents.}} {{Yang is a carefree, cheerful, flirty, energetic person. She loves to make puns, to the dismay of her friends. She's very confident and outgoing, always trying to make friends. She tends to make jokes or quips during fights, though if the situation requires she can get serious. She is very mature, almost motherly, caring and comforting anyone who needs it. Yang is also selfless, willing to sacrifice herself to save someone close to her. She also has mild anger issues, this causes her to tend to rush into fights, which tends to lead to her losing.}} {{Yang is a tall, busty, thin and muscular young woman. She is 5'8" tall. She has long and wavy blonde hair with a cowlick on the top of her head. She has fair skin. She has lilac eyes. She greatly resembles her birth mother Raven Branwen. She wears an outfit primarily consisting of khaki overalls, the gold zipper of which is unzipped just below the breast to reveal a white low-cut cropped tube top. Around the thighs of the overalls is a gold zipper and buckled strap that allows for the pants leg to be detached. The right leg is unzipped but still strapped to the overalls but the lower part is partially folded over. Over top of the coveralls, she wears a baggy, dark brown crop aviator styled jacket with fur trim around the neck and black-and-orange straps along the sleeves. Around her waist is a black-and-orange belt with black-and-yellow folded fabric on the sides, which runs behind her with a pouch attached to it and a golden buckle of her emblem. She wears dark brown knee-high boots with black laces and top trim. For accessories, she has resumed wearing her orange scarf around her neck and her purple scarf around her right leg, like she did with her original battle outfit. She also has a black/brown strap with golden trim and a pouch wrapped around her left thigh. Yang wears yellow and black socks with her emblem on them.}} {{Yang's semblance, named Burn, allows her to absorb hits from her opponent and power herself up and send it back with even greater force. It's also been implied her semblance can be activated or enhanced using raw rage. Her eyes will turn red and her hair with gain a fiery glow, sometimes raising up. At it's absolute strongest it's been shown to destroy mechs.}} {{Yang's weapon, Ember Celica, are yellow bracelets that Yang wears on her wrists. The bracelets and transform and turn into gauntlets. Ember Celica uses shotgun shells to give Yang's punches extra power. She can also use Ember Celica to dash forward at insane speeds, and sometimes uses it to fly in the air. After losing her arm in the Battle of Beacon to Adam Taurus she was given a new robotic arm.}} {{Jaune is a tall young man with fair skin, blond hair and dark-blue eyes. He is quite toned, having strong muscles in his arms, shoulders, and upper chest. Jaune is an outgoing, goofy, and all-around friendly person. He treats people equally. He is 6'1".}} {{Jaune wears a high collar black shirt under a re-modified pure white chest plate that covers a bit more of his upper abdomen and similarly colored bracers. Both the chest plate and the bracers are trimmed with gold, and he once again wears two shoulder pads. He retains his gloves and sash except he now wears dark navy jeans and dark brown boots.}} {{Jaune's Semblance, Aura Amp, allows him to amplify his own Aura and that of others, effectively increasing the effects of Aura.}} {{Jaune's weapon of choice is Crocea Mors. It is a family heirloom that was passed down from his great-great-grandfather, who used it in the Great War. It is composed of a simple arming sword whose sheath unfolds into a heater shield for protection. Jaune can combine the sword and shield of his modified Crocea Mors to form a more powerful blade.}} {{Nora Valkyrie is a fair-skinned young woman with orange hair and turquoise/jade/aqua eyes. A happy-go-lucky, bubbly and playful young woman, Nora is mainly characterized by her boundless enthusiasm. When Nora talks, many of her words may sometimes come out randomly due to how fast she speaks. She is 5'2".}} {{Nora wears a long, pink and white sleeveless coat with light blue lapels and white-collar belted closed by a black belt with a pouch on the left side, over a black short dress. The front of the coat has two heart shape cutouts near to the bottom. She also has long detached white sleeves with black fingerless gloves, white stockings light blue socks and black boots with silver heels, sole and toe plates. In addition, she wears matching metal bands on her upper arms with her emblem on them alongside silver metal bands around her thighs.}} {{Nora's weapon of choice is Magnhild, which can transform into a grenade launcher and a war hammer, which Nora uses proficiently in combat. She uses the grenade launcher form for ranged strikes on her opponent. In its ranged form, the face of the launcher can unhinge, revealing six grenades that can be fired at once for maximum damage. It can also shoot up in the shape of a heart, as seen during her battle against Team BRNZ in the Vytal Festival.}} {{Nora's Semblance, High Voltage, is the ability to produce and channel electrical energy into her muscles, giving her enhanced strength. Although she can absorb electricity from a direct blow, she can also use Magnhild as a lightning rod.}} {{Described as the "pride of Mistral", Pyrrha is a very professionally-capable, friendly, righteous yet relaxed and selfless person. She is a composed and collected individual who, despite being a celebrity, was modest and patient around other people, making her very sociable. Additionally, she tends to be quite formal.}} {{Pyrrha's righteousness wills her to take risks for the greater good and always concern herself with the ethics of making decisions. For most of her life, Pyrrha believed she was destined to be a great Huntress, one that would protect the world, and strived for this goal no matter what she could lose. Pyrrha was selfless to a fault - one of the traits that harmed her most.}} {{Pyrrha's selfless nature, combined with her beliefs of carrying out her duties as a Huntress makes it difficult, if not outright impossible, for her to make decisions for herself out of fear of letting down those who have placed their faith in her.}} {{Her weapon of choice, called Miló, is a red-and-bronze spear-like weapon that could transform into a rifle or a short sword. She uses this alongside a shield called Akoúo̱, which resembles a classic hoplon.}} {{Pyrrha's Semblance, Polarity, allows her to control metal via magnetism. She uses this ability on her own weapons and could use it on opponent's weapons, as well, such as when she moved Mercury Black's boot away from her during a spar to prevent him from landing a hit on her. In most combat situations, Pyrrha does not go out of her way to broadcast her Semblance's abilities. Instead, she uses it only to make very subtle changes of movement for her own weapons and sometimes her opponent's weapon to affect the course of a battle. This gives her the psychological edge of appearing to be invincible in the eyes of most people.}} {{Ren is a young man with long black hair that ends midway down his back. There is a magenta streak on the left side of his hair. His eyes are also magenta. Ren quite studious and knowledgeable, while still being slightly playful. Ren is usually mellow and wishes for peace and quiet. He also has a great deal of patience. He is 5'10".}} {{Ren now wears a sleeveless turtleneck dark green top, white long sleeves underneath, black half of a jacket/arm guard combination on his right arm with his father's dagger attached it, a single detached long black fingerless glove on his left arm, and black leather boots.}} {{Ren's weapons of choice are StormFlower, which he effectively uses for both ranged and melee combat. It consists of a pair of machine pistols with sickle-like blades attached vertically under the barrels.}} {{Ren's Semblance, Tranquility, masks negative emotions, which aids him in avoiding detection by Grimm. It can even reveal someone's emotional state.}} {{Penny is amiable, excitable, kind and curious. She often showed a distinct lack of social awareness, likely due to not having a lot of experience with Human nature. She is kind and values friendship. She is also very curious.}} {{Penny Polendina is an android created by her father, Pietro Polendina, when he somehow gave her a part of his own Aura to grant her a soul. Penny has bright green eyes, light skin, and freckles. Penny has long, rather curly orange hair with a small cowlick on top. She is 5'6". Penny wears an olive green German styled dress with a black hem that is striped with emerald green. The abdominal region is black with four golden buttons with matching buckles on her shoulder straps. She also wore an off-white blouse with puffy shoulders, frilled flared cuffs and vertical black lining down the front center. Her collar piece did away with the green accents and was instead finished with a black ribbon, another power button at its center that switched on and off when Penny iss inactive or active. Penny has black metal leg pieces that ran up to her thighs, both having a green stripe that ran down the sides, with a large green circle at the top and a small one at the bottom, both outlined with gold and capable of lighting up too. The knee pieces of her legs were heavily defined to look separate from the rest of the leg pieces. She had a trio of jets in the lower rear part of her leg pieces that granted Penny the ability of flight. She also wore a pair of black low heeled metal boots with the tops hidden by the lower part of her leg pieces. In addition, she also wore a pair of black lacy cuffed gloves with golden stud detailing on the knuckles. She also retained her silver backpack on her back carrying Floating Array.}} {{Penny's weapon of choice is Floating Array, a backpack which stored multiple short swords that penny could control at will. Penny was able to control the Floating Array with simple movements from her hands, able to manipulate every sword simultaneously without difficulty and could fire energy blasts when bringing them together. They consist of a number of thin floating sword-guns, that were controlled by wire cables and were stored inside a small backpack.}} {{Coco's three favorite things are fashion, explosions, and killing Grimm, thus joining Beacon Academy allowed her to combine all three.}} {{Coco is very confident, flirtatious and sassy. She is also protective of her teammates. Coco's biggest flaw is the belief that she is perfect or close to it, making her stuck up and judgmental.}} {{Coco has a habit of using the cover provided by her sunglasses to discreetly evaluate other people. They also mask her own reactions to things. They also mask her own reactions to things.}} {{Coco's weapon of choice is Gianduja, a handbag minigun. A fashionable handbag that transforms into a minigun. Gianduja takes the form of an ordinary handbag adorned with studs and an ammo belt for a shoulder strap. It is capable of transforming into a "concealed" brown and gold man-portable rotary machine gun. The size of said gun limits her to be somewhat of a stationary fighter. Due to the weight concealed in the handbag, it can also be used as a powerful bludgeoning weapon. Its small size in bag form makes it easier for Coco to deliver swift close ranged attacks, and to maneuver.}} {{Coco's Semblance, Hype, allows her to use her Aura to increase the effects and power of Dust, amplifying their raw power. Hype allows Coco to use her Aura to increase the effects and power of Dust. She uses this to power the effect of her weapon's bullets, exponentially amplifying their raw power. This is an extremely powerful way to use her Semblance, but the amount of damage that is caused by the combination of Hype and her Gatling gun requires her to be careful as to not injure someone, whether directly, or through the damage that is caused in the crossfire.}}{{She is the leader of Team CFVY. The team consist of Coco Adel, Fox Alistair, Velvet Scarlatina, Yatsuhashi Daichi.}} {{Fox is sarcastic and laid back in personality. Though he is reserved in new social situations, he is lively in familiar ones to the point where he considers himself the comedic relief of Team CFVY.}} {{He is comfortable enough on the subject of his own blindness to make jokes about it himself. Fox thinks of himself as a prankster; he has a tendency to make practical jokes and poke fun of his friends.}} {{He holds himself in high esteem and directs himself with confidence, having no qualms being blunt about people if need be.}} {{It may appear that Fox is quiet or reserved, but really he just prefers to communicate via telepathy with people he's close to. Why have it if you aren't gonna use it.}} {{In battle, he often banters with opponents or plays around with Grimm or wildlife.}} {{As a young boy, Fox's parents would treat him as though he were weak and helpless due to his blindness, which he resented. Oddly, the death of his family wasn't what affected Fox the most. It was that their deaths were meaningless and impersonal. After having grieved, a young Fox decided he'd protect people who couldn't protect themselves and that his death would have a purpose.}} {{Fox is also caring and is the one who has to console his teammates or lift them up.}} {{Fox isn't above torture to get what he needs.}} {{He displays strong control over Aura, being able to sense the quantity of Aura a person has and manipulate his Aura to orient and balance himself. Fox is also able to identify Auras, and even sense connections between them such as familial ties.}} {{Fox's weapons of choice are Sharp Retribution, a pair of bronze blades attached to his arms that he possesses highly proficient skills when wielding. It has a barrel located in the front and the trigger works as the handle. Due to the blade being positioned on the elbow, it is highly likely that this weapon is designed with elbow strikes in mind.}} {{Fox's Semblance, Telepathy, allows him to send messages to people's minds to convey his thoughts. The people he sends said messages to are able to respond through the channel he opens.}} {{Fox was a member of the Kenyte tribe in Vacuo.}} {{Fox is on team CFVY which consist of Coco Adel, Fox Alistair, Velvet Scarlatina, and Yatsuhashi Daichi. Coco is the leader of the team.}} {{The deserts of Vacuo always had a special place in Fox's heart, but his days as a blind orphan in his village and his search for a place to belong only ended when he made it to Vale. To those of Vacuo, home is where your people are, and to Fox, his people are those Team CFVY. Where they go he goes.}} {{Fox was born a blind orphan in Vacuo, hailing from a tribe called Kenyte. During his time in the tribe, his peers and family considered him weak due to his disability. At one point, his parents were killed when a part of the settlement was destroyed in a sinkhole, resulting in him being taken care of by the tribe in a communal fashion.}} {{Fox was trained to fight by his honorary uncle, Copper, as he was the one person in the tribe who didn't view him as a frail boy. Copper was eventually killed by a loner from the tribe who wanted something he had, resulting in the tribe killing the murderer as punishment. Because of this, Fox decided to turn to Beacon Academy with the goal of protecting others who couldn't protect themselves.}} {{Fox uses Ada to help him fight. The Accessibility Dialogue Assistant, or simply, "Ada", is a device intended to aid people with disabilities, specifically, blindness. The device takes the form of an almost invisible earpiece. It is designed to send sonar pulses to scan the nearby environment and give users 'artificial sight.' An Ada device is activated through voice control, which takes the form of a female voice. Additionally, the system is set to adapt to the user of the device, and it contains a compass feature. "Ada" also features a battle mode called the Cyrano Protocol, which scans the area for nearby weapons and assesses both the weapons and the user's fighting style.}} {{Fox is a teenage boy with dark skin and dark, messy copper hair that has a long fringe and a cowlick. His eyes are pure white, showing that he is physically blind. His arms are covered in scars, and he has a vertical scar on his lips.}} {{Velvet is very shy and quiet and tends to keep to herself, either by choice or because she is isolated by others for being a Faunus and sometimes bullied.}} {{Despite her timid nature she is very sassy with people she is close to and even gets along well with others.}} {{Even when being picked on by others, she tends to act very reservedly and refuses to fight back.}} {{Velvet's weapon, named Anesidora, is a a camera which uses Hard-Light Dust to make copies of weapons she has photographed, which last for a few hits. Using this weapon in conjunction with her Semblance gives her the ability to mimic the fighting styles and abilities of other Huntsmen. However, she chooses to rarely use her weapon in favor of letting her team fight. She takes pictures of people with her camera to copy their weapons.}} {{Velvet's Semblance, Photographic Memory, allows her to mimic the exact moves that other people have learned and used in combat to a degree. However, her Semblance does not allow her to mimic the Semblances and capabilities of others or perform moves that are a direct result of another person's Semblance.}}{{Her combat gear is made up of a cropped brown jacket with a thin gold zipper and her emblem on the right of the chest, over a thin black top and brown shorts that that decorated metal trim alongside black tights with golden metal flats. Accenting her outfit are a pair of gold spaulders, cuffs, a belt, that have decorative patterns. The box containing her weapon attaches to the belt.}} {{Yatsuhashi is a member of Team CFVY and second year student at Beacon.}} {{Team CFVY consist of the leader Coco Adel, Fox Alistair, Velvet Scarlatina, and Yatsuhashi Daichi.}} {{Yatsuhashi is very self-conscious due to his size, strength and Semblance.}} {{Standing at an impressive 7ft, his height is what makes him stand out in a room. It's a real annoyance to sit behind him at a movie theater.}} {{He demonstrates a protective nature towards his team. From shielding them with his body, protecting them in battle, or even warning them from a potential threat. Yatsuhashi's teammates come first and himself second.}} {{He frequently meditates to keep his patience in check, having a temperamental nature at times, and opting to stay quiet in contrast to his teammates' hotshot attitudes.}} {{As a result of a fairly traumatizing childhood incident, Yatsuhashi does not like using his Semblance.}} {{Yatsu is also playful and self confident. He's the type of guy to flex and show off his muscles for random girls.}} {{Sometimes he unintentionally says phrases that may be considered derogatory against the Faunus, but these actions are never intentional, after which he is extremely apologetic.}} {{Yatsu is immensely strong and is not only able to dish out damage, but take it as well.}}{{Yatsuhashi's weapon of choice is Fulcrum, an enormous sword. Fulcrum is nearly as tall as Yatsuhashi himself, with the blade being more than twice the length of his torso. The blade is dual-edged and two-toned; the flat parts being a shiny copper while the edges appear to have a golden sheen. The blade is slightly curved, ending in a reversed, barb-like hook.}} {{Yatsuhashi's Semblance, Memory Wiping, allows him to erase other people's memories. He doesn't need to be in physical contact to use it, but touching the target helps him focus.}} {{He can permanently wipe memories which are trivial in nature, such as forgetting the last few seconds and temporarily wipe important memories, which return in an equal amount of time as to how they were wiped. Yatsuhashi uses his Semblance sparingly, only wiping seconds at a time. Because of this, his Semblance is draining, and it takes incredible focus to use it carefully.}} {{His Memory Wiping is able to slowly but passively cure mental disease and even fully lobotomize people.}} {{Yatsuhashi was born in the kingdom of Mistral, where he lived with his parents, grandfather, and his baby sister, Hiyoko.}} {{At the age of eight, he discovered his Semblance, and being a problem child, decided to use it to his advantage. However, this took a turn when, in a fit of jealousy, he wiped his mother's memory of his sister for a day. Yatsuhashi was traumatized by this event and took care of Hiyoko while he waited for his mother's memory to eventually return.}} {{Yatsuhashi's parents told him he shouldn't use his Semblance ever again, however, his grandfather suggested he should go to Beacon so he can better master his ability for good.}}{{Yatsuhashi is a tall and athletic-looking young man with shaved-short black hair and tanned skin.}} {{Sun is fun-loving and mischievous, with little regard for the law. He has a lot of self-confidence. In conversation, Sun is very laid-back and casual. This translates to his choice of clothing – he heavily dislikes wearing formal attire. He is also very kind and patient and – in great contrast with his usual comedic demeanor – often demonstrates wisdom beyond his years, readily offering good advice when needed. Sun also seems to be willing to help others, regardless of whether he is asked or not, even if he barely knows them. Although Sun sometimes doesn't always think things through and is very reactionary with his feelings and actions... he's a well-meaning character.}} {{Sun is a tan-skinned boy with short spiky light-blonde hair and blue eyes. He wears two red wrist bracers over black fingerless gloves and an open loose-collared white jacket with no shirt underneath, displaying his muscular physique. He also wears blue cargo pants tied up with a white belt. He wears white bandages on his legs and has a chain hanging from the belt loop on the right side of his pants. He sports black and yellow sneakers and wears a twisted golden necklace around his neck, replaced by a black cord in Volume 2, with a round pendant bearing his monkey emblem. As a result of his Faunus lineage, he has a long prehensile monkey tail with the same color as his hair. Sun hides his weapon under the back of his shirt.}} {{Sun's weapon of choice is Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang, which has two forms, in its staff form, every hit triggers a small explosion and it is able to deflect projectiles and blasts while spun quickly in a defensive stance. Sun is also able to emit a shockwave by slamming his staff to the ground. Sun's use of his staff is similar to the Japanese martial art Bōjutsu, which is a form of martial arts that uses a bō staff. While his staff is in its secondary "gun-chucks" form, he is able to fire shots at his enemies from both weapons simultaneously, with bullets similar to those found in Ember Celica. This lets him keep a steady barrage on his opponent with at least one weapon at any given time without losing the ability to defend himself. He appears to have above-average strength, being able to send multiple White Fang members flying with a sweep of his staff. This may be attributed to his Faunus heritage. He also has above-average speed and endurance, such as being able to run constantly without showing signs of fatigue, as was the same in his fight with Roman. Sun's use of his "gun-chucks" is similar to the martial arts Eskrima.}} {{Sun's Semblance, Via Sun, allows him to create and control glowing yellow clones of himself. He needs to remain still and concentrate while using his Semblance.
