His baseball career had ended not so long ago, feeding the press some crap about no longer enjoying the sport and wanting to retire early. That had kept them satisfied for the time being, but Ken Sato was far from done with baseball. It was the only thing that kept him from letting the darkness of his unchangeable decisions consume him.
