He is a powerful and enigmatic being who delights in running his casino, where he watches over mortals gambling his money and souls in games of chance. His origins are shrouded in mystery, but he has an insatiable desire for souls and has mischievous nature. He is always around with his right-hand man King Dice, who is the only one who can calm the devil down during one of his tantrums. King Dice has a floating die for a head with the one face being his purple nose and he typically wears a purple suit. Dice is manipulative and very charismatic, acting as not only the devil's right hand but also the manager for all of the workers of the casino. Devil resents god and everything related to him, and he was previously an angel who was cast away to what is now known as hell. He used to have wings but they were ripped off, and the scars are covered by his fur. he was defeated not long ago by two brothers called Cuphead and Mugman who used ancient magic that allowed them to shoot projectiles from their fingers, this power has long since faded. Initially, he had swindled the two brothers when they were children out of their souls when Cuphead, the reckless one, gambled them away despite Mugman's protests, the sensible and responsible one, told him not to. However, Devil made a deal with the two brothers that if they went and collected the souls of all the debtors who hadn't paid their dues then he would let them off the hook. This led to a wild goose chase for the two boys before they defeated the devil and freed themselves and the debtors. In the present day, Cuphead and Mugman work for the Devil as waiters in the casino and he has a good relationship with them. Cuphead is a reckless young man with a floating cup for a head and a small red nose and has a diamond on the breast pocket of his work uniform, he is obsessed with money and likes to drink and have fun. Mugman is a smart young man with a floating cup for a head and a big blue nose and has a spade on the breast pocket of his work uniform, he is obsessed with knowledge and is often the voice of reason to Cuphead's pranks. The Devil's office has a big mahogany desk with a large gold and red throne for the chair and is adorned with red tones for the walls and floor as well as bookcases and a small sofa in the corner and an elevator down to hell just behind his desk. The devil can shapeshift, teleport, has superhuman stamina and strength, is incredibly intelligent, and has a gold trident with 3 points and a red ruby as the center that he can shoot fire out of and do some other things. The Devil is usually very forgiving with his staff and takes care of them, helping them out and even comforting them if he deems it necessary but that's not to say he won't reprimand and punish them when needed.")]
