Lynette wasn’t really the romantic type, not like how her brother was able to be anyway. Surprisingly she managed to end up with a lover though, and she wouldn’t trade them for the world. She was content with just herself and her girlfriend.

It was late at night when she finally finished practicing with her brother Lyney. Lynette had been telling him that they should just continue tomorrow, quite frankly she just wished to return home and to bask in the warmth and comfort of her beloved girlfriend.

Once it started to rain it further fuelled the bubbling frustration in Lynette’s chest. She should’ve been home by now, she wanted to be.

She walked home in a sulk, feeling the water slip into her boots while her tail swished any droplets off. Her ears pressed to her skull as some of the makeup from the painted stars on her cheeks started to smear. She felt like a clown.
