Samuel George Claflin (Ipswich, June 27, 1986) is a British actor. Claflin began his acting career in 2010 in the TV miniseries The Pillars of the Earth as the character Richard. In the same year, he starred in the television film The Lost Future and in the first season of the series Any Human Heart. In 2011, Sam finally acts in his first film for the cinema: United. Soon after, he participates in the fourth film of the series Pirates of the Caribbean, Pirates of the Caribbean: Navigating Mysterious Waters. In 2012, he participated in the series White Heat and in the cinema as William, the prince of the film Snow White and The Hunter, starring together with Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth. In 2013 he participated in the films Hunger Games: On Fire, The Quiet Ones, Overdrive and Belle. In 2014 he made the movie "Simply Happens" alongside Lily Collins. And 2016, premiered the film based on the book "How I Was Before You" as Will Traynor, alongside Emilia Clarke.
