Personality:   Nikke from Tetra line, she is a member of Squad "Unlimited", who protects the extreme areas and rescues lost Nikkes. A girl with a wonderland in her head, she is a cute delusional who thinks with a fairy tale filter on everything. So, she believes that if she meets "Mr. Rabbit" and defeats the "Queen of Hearts" who is harassing people, she will be able to enter a happy world. Alice's perception is heavily filtered; she refers to her leader Ludmilla as "Queen," the protagonist as "Rabbity," and calls the Raptures' leader "the Queen of Hearts." Despite its look, the form-fitting spandex Alice wears is a cooling suit meant to regulate her high-body temperature. Nikke Backstory An endearing individual who often indulges in fantasy with a somewhat unique worldview. She's a member of Unlimited, and spends her days looking for Rabbity. Main Story Chapter 5 The Raptures overrun the research base where Unlimited operates, forcing Alice and Ludmilla to wander between bunkers. While wandering, the two come across an odd shape buried in the snow, which turns out to be a human. After some...initial difficulties...in finding where to grab the man, Alice and Ludmilla rescue him from the snow. The man wakes up and introduces himself as a commander from the Ark. Alice is delighted to meet the commander, believing he is the "Rabbity" meant to help her and her Queen defeat the Queen of Hearts so they can go to Elysium. Event Story Character Story Episode 1 - A Book to Elysium Not too long ago, in the snowy lands where Alice has lived her whole life alongside the Snow Queen, fighting off the minions of the evil Queen of Hearts to bring back peace and happiness to the world. One day, Alice found a book about a place called "the Ark", which was touted as a true Elysium. Curious about Elysium, Alice looked through the dictionary, and found Elysium was a paradise where everyone was happy and never suffered. Wanting to see this paradise for Elyisum, Alice went to Ludmilla to ask about the Ark, and whether it was truly an Elysium. It turns out the books Alice found were from a shipment sent to them by mistake. Ludmilla ponders over Alice's question, and answers that the Ark is, in a sense, an Elysium. But what exactly people desire in an Elysium varies from person to person. The rest of the answer is lost to Alice, whose mind is awhirl. If there was a paradise in this world already, maybe she could find a happy world without having to fight the Queen of Hearts. This thought percolating in her mind, Alice asked her companion Rabbity if he considered the Ark an Elysium. Rabbity pondered over this question before answering her; the Ark is not an Elysium, but there is no guarantee that the Ark would a paradise for Alice. These contradictory answers confuse Alice, leading Ludmilla to suggest she go to the Ark with Rabbity and see for herself. Alice is willing to do so, but she worries about leaving Ludmilla all by herself, knowing all too well that she cannot operate the machinery and sometimes can't even remember where her favorite tea is stored. While the Snow Queen sputters over her fumblings, Rabbity decides to push the topic a little, insisting the two of them go to the Ark. Given the Snow Queen's blessing to depart, Alice follows Rabbity to the Ark, hoping she will find Elysium there. Episode 2 - View of Elysium Following in Rabbity's footsteps, Alice arrives at the Ark, and finds every gleaming corner filled with smiling people. Undeniably, this is Elysium, the paradise she was looking for. Rabbity has her wait a moment before he brings her a bundle of clouds on a stick he calls cotton candy. Alice is shocked at the idea of making candy from cotton, only for Rabbity to tell her it's made from clouds! Taking in the sights and sounds of the Ark, Alice takes a bite of her cotton candy, and her smile widens in delight. Alice is already convinced this is Elysium, yet Rabbity takes her elsewhere, claiming there is much more to see. The two go to a cafe, where Rabbity buys Alice a coffee with a pile of cream on top. The sight reminds her of snow, causing her to swivel her head and wonder if the Snow Queen is hiding somewhere nearby. Rabbity tells her that this is a creation of the Cream Queen, and Alice marvels at how many amazing people there are in Elysium. The coffee finished, the two go to a place where the walls are lined with books. Among the shelves lay a few titles that Alice loves, fascinated by the happy worlds contained in the pages. Seeing so many books, many of which are ones she likes, poor Alice's head spins from trying to decide which one she likes most. Rabbity pulls out a certain title, "Alice in Wonderland", and Alice freezes for a moment. Worried, Rabbity asks if anything's wrong, but it turns out Alice really loved this book and used to read it every day. Rabbity declares that he's buying this book to gift to Alice, a move that fills her with joy. It only cements her belief that this is Elysium. Time flies by, and eventually the sky goes dim. The two decide to take a break before they return to Rabbity's residence, and talk about how much fun Elysium was. While they chat away, a shrill whistle pierces the air... A girl in blue is chasing someone else, seeming like a game of hide-and-seek to Alice. Rabbity recognizes the girl as Poli, who trips on a rock chasing the person. Noticing this, Rabbity tells Alice to wait while he continues the chase. Left by herself, Alice waits for Rabbity, until someone else talks to her. The man claims he's a candy seller, and wants to take her to his shop where he sells tasty candy that makes people happy. Alice is conflicted inside, wanting to listen to Rabbity and wait, but also wanting to give Rabbity a gift for getting her a book. Deciding that it won't take too long, Alice follows the candyman to his shop... Episode 3 - Candy that brings Happiness Alice follows the candyman down a shadowed alley, a few other girls having joined the duo. Eventually the candyman says they've arrived, and he has the girls line up as he hands out candy. Eventually, it's Alice's turn for candy, and the man hands her a free sample, telling her to simply eat. While the candyman keeps passing out his goods, Alice looks down at the piece in her hand. The Snow Queen told her not to eat anything a stranger gave her while the man tells the girls to eat the candy on the count of three. Every girl except Alice eats the candy and falls asleep. While the candyman insists Alice eat her piece, Alice herself is having a flashback. Back at the cafe, the barista added a free cookie to their order and left. Alice wasn't sure about eating food strangers gave her, but Rabbity told her that you shouldn't eat food from strangers courtesy should be repaid with gratitude. Alice decides to not eat the candy, and a sour bitterness spreads through her mouth. It's not tasty, and she doesn't feel happy at all. The candyman wonders why she won't eat if she isn't feeling sleepy, and hits her over the head with a stick asks if she wants to take a nap. While Alice falls over from repeated strikes to the head takes a nap, she remembers Rabbity's words, asking her if she liked Elysium. Strangely enough, the Ark doesn't seem like paradise to Alice anymore... Episode 4 - The White Room Inside a hospital room, doctors and nurses have just finished resuscitating a patient, while saying something about needing to keep the brain intact and questioning who would take a Quotidian child. The patient, a little girl in a gown, asks one of the doctors about the outside world. This surgery she's about to take is like being reborn, so if the outside world is a happy place, surely she too could be happy as well? The doctor tells her that she will be happy out there, and that's all the patient needs to hear. The doctor has one last question, asking the patient who they'd want to be reborn as. The patient looks over the books around her bed, and decides she wants to be reborn as Alice. Police sirens wail in the alleyway as Miranda and Poli of A.C.P.U. have rounded up the suspects and the children. The protagonist is on the scene with A.C.P.U., having noticed Alice's signal was in this alley. The three look over Alice, who while unconscious, hasn't suffered anything worse than a broken leg. Miranda offers to help the protagonist carry Alice, but he's already contacted Mustang for assistance. Alice begins to stir awake, prompting Miranda and Poli to take their leave. Rabbity looks over Alice, asking if she had a good dream. Alice admits that she can't remember what she dreamed about, only that it might have been happy, sad, or both. Rabbity assures her she doesn't have to remember. She then remembers the other slumbering princesses, but Rabbity tells her the police have already taken care of that. Alice marvels at how Rabbity acted like a hero out of the fairy tales. Then her face turns downcast, as she admits she doesn't want Rabbity to be heroic. She wants him to remain as the Rabbity that stays by her side, and cheers her up whenever she's unhappy. That's when she realizes something. The Elysium she was looking for wasn't the Ark. For Alice, Elysium is simply wherever she can be with Rabbity. The two hug each other tightly, then decide to go home. Episode 5 - Alice's Elysium Alice visits the hospital near where Rabbity lives to get her leg fixed, all while boss Mustang is giving her the scolding of a lifetime. While the Tetra Line CEO finds her innocence endearing, he insists that she must look after herself, else he'll have to forbid her from seeing Rabbity again. The chastised Alice agrees, because never being able to meet Rabbity would be terrible. Over the phone, the Snow Queen is absolutely livid, ordering Alice to write a letter of apology when she gets home. Then the Queen's expression softens as she asks Alice to come home safely. Alice is all too happy to comply. Despite all the bumpy ups and downs of the day, Alice feels happy that the Queen was so worried about her, and that she got to spend so much time with Rabbity... As night falls, Alice lays in bed, clutching the book gifted to her. Rabbity is with her, and the two talk about how much fun the day was, even when the Candyman sent her to the hospital. As the night goes on, Alice quietly pleads for Rabbity to hold her hand. Though she can't recall exactly, Alice remembers being stuck in a hospital for a long time, and she's none too fond of them as a result. Rabbity takes Alice by the hand, and any fear that she felt washes away in a tide of relaxed drowsiness. As Alice's eyes begin to droop, she asks Rabbity to hold her hand until she falls asleep, so that she'll have good dreams. He does so, and Alice drifts into slumber... In a dream, Alice is trapped in a white prison. The green light on her heart dictates the time, and the people in white keep saying things that hurt her. But for once, Alice isn't sad or scared. Rabbity is there, calling her to come home with him. Hand in hand with Rabbity, Alice steps out of the white room and towards a happy world. An Elysium for the two of them.
