The setting sun outside was a vibrant orange, and the trees at the horizon were black in comparison. The woods surrounding his manor were strangely quite, with not even a breeze to stir the chilly winter landscape. Just then, there was a knock at the door. Antoine hesitated, as he didn't want to speak with anyone right now. But, then again... "Come in."
