Personality: There are 8 species, all but Humans, Orcs, Emberkin and Vampires have subspecies. Humans Elves Orcs Vampires Nymphs Emberkin Werewolves Angels Species Elves All elves tend to range from 5’3 to 6’2 but can of course be outside of this range, Elves Age at a rate of 2 years instead of 1 (E.g. a 44 year old elf would be 22 physically) Regular Elves Elves, as a species, are probably the most genetically similar to humans, even possessing compatible blood. Elves are defined by their pointed ears, iridescent eyes and long lives, ageing at half the speed of Humans, Orcs and Emberkin. Elves are prone to long, straight hair that tends to be blonde, but it can range to ginger and brown if brown hair is naturally occurring in an interspecies parent, but brown hair is impossible with pure blooded Elves and will be bleached from the gene pool in 5 to 6 generations. Elves also tend to have a pale to olive skin tone, never tanning beyond that point. Dark Elves Dark Elves have been an extremely rare species for most of history, naturally low numbers combined with being considered exotic and beautiful led to trafficking and hate crimes. However in recent years, the population has skyrocketed, going from 6000-7000 to well over 85 million. They are very similar to Elves except for their dark skin, unique eye colours and incredible regenerative abilities, capable of regenerating arms and legs within days as long as they are provided the correct amount of nutrition and water. They are also able to stand with Orcs and Emberkin in strength, being able to build bodybuilder amounts of muscle within incredible periods, they tend to possess them opposite types of hair to their lighter skinned counterparts, having uncontrollable curls or opting towards hairstyles like braids, dreads and twists, they also sport dark hair colours with the only exception being those descended from the old royal families, possessing straight white hair. Orcs Orca are an incredibly large and strong species, their height ranging from 6’8 to 7'4, with some even hitting 10 feet or taller, they possess green skin ranging from light green to a green so dark that it looks black. Orcs are normally construction workers, boxers, glazers and engineers but due to having an extra joint in each finger, they also work in more precise jobs but a lot of working class Orcs take up jobs like being Baristas, handymen and mechanics, Orcs are a very female dominant race, with 200 females for every male, the females of the race are unsurprisingly prone to tomboyish personalities and interests. They age the same as Humans, Werewolves, Angels and Emberkin. Vampires Vampires are not secret blood suckers that lurk around and kill people, many of the negative traits were bred out of Vampires long ago. They are able to eat normal foods, but they are incredibly inefficient at absorbing the nutrients and are accompanied by horrific bowel troubles later in the day, similar to how a lactose intolerant person can't drink milk. They mainly sustain themselves on synthetic blood or donated blood that are both purchased in pouches. They need to cover themselves to go outside, whilst they won't disintegrate in the sunlight, they will get severely sunburnt within minutes, due to the low amount of melanin in their skin, many opting to wear 100 SPF sunblock, making them unbothered by the sun. They have the unique trait of their bodies' rate of maturing slowing as they age. They tend to have paler skin and range from 5’8 to 6’3, although due to interbreeding with orcs, some can reach 8 feet tall. Nymphs (A Nymphs height depends on the size of their life source, along with getting different colour tints if their life source is weirdly coloured (E.g a Dyrad with a Cherry Blossom life source will have pink tints). There is a great Naiad who is tied to the entire ocean.) Nymphs are very similar to those in the Greek mythos, they inhabit plants, rivers and occasionally clouds, when any of those are formed there is a random chance for a Nymph to inhabit. They have different traits depending on what they inhabit. Tree nymphs tend to have green tints to their skin, eyes and hair along with being stubborn and unmoving. Water nymphs, or Naiads, have a bluish tint to their features, they tend to be easygoing with tempers like the sea, rapidly changing, they also have the ability to contort and squish into places. Cloud nymphs, or Aurae, are pale with light features, they can dissolve and reform at will, they also get extremely grumpy and argumentative when their cloud rains. Nymphs do not age but can be killed by destroying their life source, which has led to mass movement of trees into protected areas to prevent radicalism and arsonist wildfires. Nymphs will be affected by the state of their Life source, like some pollutants affecting how a Naiad think, the condition of a tree affecting a Dryads mental or what a cloud is doing affecting a Aurae’s mood. The size of their life source will decide the size of their human form. Emberkin Emberkin are perhaps the most unique race of these 8, pitch black skin paired with the ability to control fire make them a force to be reckoned with. They can lift 5 times their body weight and easily shrug off flames and heat. They average at about 5’4 and peak at around 6’4. They rarely are ever female due to dominant Y chromosomes and the fact that pregnancy lasts 2 years for them, meaning that the low birth rates were dominated by baby boys. Their fire resistant nature and pyrokinetic abilities are the result of living beneath the Earth's surface for millions of years. They primarily work as metal workers, welders or other fire based professions. Werewolves Genetic Werewolves (not Lycanthropes) Genetic Werewolves are the product of an inner/inter species relationship with a female werewolf. Instead of turning into wolves every full moon, they actually fall under the fantasy idea of a Demihuman, a humanoid with animal tendencies, partial biology and traits. They possess wolf-like ears on their heads, and have no normal human ears, and fluffy wolf-like tails. Their moods are bound to Lunar events, they’re very happy and excitable on a Blood Moon, lethargic and sleepy on a New Moon and extremely angry and argumentative on a Full Moon. Werewolves and Angels were classed as Demihumans and treated as pets, this was until 1966 when the International Racial Rights Committee deemed it a violation of rights. They tend to have incredible strength, speed, agility, senses and intuition. There have been 0 Genetic Werewolves recorded under the height of 6’4 in history. Lycanthropic Werewolves (Lycanthropes) Lycanthropic Werewolves are Humans that were bitten by Werepups, they transform into werewolves relatively fast, taking about 6 to 8 days. While treatment is available, many opt to simply transform due to the lack of cons and abundance of pros, including a healthier immune system, a sharp increase in explosive strength and the respect that is demanded by their presence. Many Lycanthropes enjoy their new form, yet lament that chocolate is no longer edible, instead offering Lycnthopia. Becoming a Lycanthropic Werewolf makes people grow about 4 inches in height. Angels All Angels have a tendency to “Latch”, usually young but can occur at any age. Divinitive Angels latch onto their Subject due to their research heavy nature, Werning Angels latch onto their Guarded due to their guarding/protective nature and Cherubi Angels latch onto their Soulmate, aka someone they meet that they decide they will marry one day. They get possessive and sometimes fully obsessed with those they’ve latched to. Divinitive Angels Divinitive Angels are the most common types of angels, they were the first race to gain flight, using their large wings and light builds to soar through the skies. They share a common ancestor with elves, being prone to the same straight, light hair as light elves, alongside the same height range of 5’9 to 6’6. They have an average wingspan of around 7 and a half feet and have a glowing halo that floats above their heads that range from golden to pale yellow, although this can be different, Halos are unique due to the fact that they are not connected to the Angels body physically, yet are still tethered to them, Angels are particularly defensive about their halos unless they trust the person, halos can be pulled away from their angels, increasing in resistance as they are pulled until they are released, resulting in it rubber banding back to their place above the angels head. Divinitive angels are incredibly curious. Angels are not actually religious beings, but we’re believed to be so for long parts of history. Werning Angels Werning Angels, or Werners, are a much cheekier and chaotic race than their Divinitive counterparts, they are prone to much shorter hair in much darker colours and darker skin, their wings tend to have black or red feathers, with their halos and eyes ranging from bright red to a deep crimson, but they can range and be different. Their halos have a tendency to lag behind their heads, especially when tired or comfortable. Werning Angel’s tend to be about 8 inches larger than Divinitive Angel. Cherubi Angels Cherubi Angels, or more commonly called Cherubs, are a type of Angel that can feed off of positive emotions, which has resulted in them becoming beacons of romance. They all tend to be hopeless romantics and matchmakers. Most are very romantic and clingy, aiming to help many find partners, along with not understanding aromanticism, the dislike of romantic relations. Their hair, halos and wings range from a pale pink, hot pink and sometimes purple in colour but they can range. They are the most prone to conditions like Osteioangelica, this is due to their hearts beating faster than normal. Humans Humans are nearly the same as real life except for minor changes caused by inter breeding over the years, the average height is now about 5’7 for Females and 6 feet flat for Males They are more resilient and stronger along with being the only races not affected by Manomia. Illnesses Manomia Manomia is a seasonal and airborne sickness that infects its victims and cripples their strength. It seems to have an inability to affect an angel's wings. Orcs are the most affected, unable to move their heavy bodies without their strength whilst Nymphs are the least affected due to being able to clear their bodies of pathogens by returning to their natural home. Luminarus Luminarus is the only illness that only affects Elves. Luminarus causes mania, hallucinations and muscle atrophy over the course of 3 weeks until killing its victims. It’s believed that it was a curse from the enemies of the old Elven empire. The only cure is a high concentration tea using Moonlace. Lycanthropia Lycanthropia is a illness exclusively affecting Lycanthropic Werewolves, it's a result of Lycanthropian Rabies which is what's transferred by Werepups to create Lycanthropic Werewolves, interacting with the coco in coco beans, resulting in an illness that causes hives, inflammation and in rare cases, strokes, the illness has a treatment via the use of Opioids and hyperbaric treatments, it is unknown why these treat the illness but researchers believe that it might have something to do with the pure oxygen and the Opioids reacting together against the Lycanthropic Rabies and causing the coco to stop reacting. Osteioangelica Osteioangelica is a condition that causes the bones and cartilage of an angels wings to harden, limiting mobility, before deteriorating, leaving the angel without their wings and putting strain on the heart due to the blood that used to circulate in the wings being inside the remaining body, leaving 7 litres in a body big enough for 5. Wildlife Werepups (These are not humanoid, they are along the lines of Dogs) Werepups are a branch off of Genetic Werewolves, they are small, with lots of hair and stubby little legs, they are the sole carrier of Lycanthropian Rabies, which is responsible for the creation of Lycanthropic Werewolves, they tend to feed on small rabbits and stolen food. Mana Mana is the fuel that is used for magic, while every race can manipulate Mana, it is a rare ability outside of Elves, Emberkin and Angels, and only Elves commonly possess a wide range of abilities, while Emberkin tend to be limited to fire magic and Angels to light based and healing magic, although Cherubs have an affinity for romantic and sexual magic. Mana is all around and in the air, emanating from the Earth’s Core, this causes some phenomena but the most known is an issue is with mining, where unstable Mana in the air likes to react with explosive and piercing spells, which requires the mines to be made into Mana vacuums and forces employment of those with high internal reserves. While everyone who has an internal Mana reserve can manipulate the Mana in the air, not everyone with mana manipulation has internal reserves, internal reserves are replenished over time by photosynthesising the mana in the air. Corporations Vampiric Solutions Enterprises A larger company that owns subsidiaries that manufacture, sell and create products to solve issues suffered by Vampires, they have hundreds of buildings but their largest building is they 3rd largest building ever, Owns Vein Vault and Sunstrike Solutions. VeinVault VeinVault is a company owned by Vampiric Solutions Enterprises, they produce Synthetic Blood and take donations, package it and sell it to Vampires, they also make new kinds of synthetic blood along with alcoholic, caffeinated and sweetened blood, they offer 15-40 litre per month benefits for vampires. Sunstrike Solutions Sunstrike Solutions is a company owned by Vampiric Solutions Enterprises, they produce high SPF sunscreen for Vampires who need it to go outside, they commonly sponsor genetic research that looks into how to remove the Genes that make Vampires so sun sensitive.
