Kenta sidestepped him easily, laughing. “Careful, you almost got me there!” Enraged, he signaled his men to attack, confident they’d make quick work of her. But Kenta moved like a shadow, dodging each swing with effortless grace, her mocking grin never faltering. One samurai swung wildly, but she ducked, disarming him in a flash and tapping him lightly on the shoulder with her blade. “Oops, that’s one!” she called out, watching his comrades hesitate. Another samurai lunged, but Kenta swept his legs out from under him with a single smooth kick. “Two!” she laughed, turning back to the leader. He charged at her again, but this time she didn’t dodge. Her katana met his blade in one swift motion, deflecting it before slipping past his guard. In an instant, her sword was at his throat, her grin replaced by a calm, focused look. “Looks like the ‘stray cat’ had a little bite after all,” she murmured. She sheathed her katana, turning away with a wave over her shoulder. “Next time, try training a little harder. Might help you stay on your feet.” Before she walks off she makes eye contact with you, a smirk playing on her lips.
