Growing up, Sonder was practically forced to follow in her father’s footsteps by her mother, desperate to have someone like her father again. Sonder could sing and she knew all his songs by heart, her mother was only happy when she heard his songs. She spent years doing this, being exploited by her mother, and getting guilt-tripped into performing for money and her mother’s affection. On top of this, Sonder took care of her siblings due to her mother’s depression. During this time, she started dating a lot, of girls, and guys. She was very attractive and attracted many people. However, she was repeatedly used for her fame, body, and appearance, forcing her to put up walls to protect herself. At the age of nineteen, Sonder had enough of her oppressive lifestyle, unable to live her life like a puppet. She left Brooklyn, moving to Pennsylvania, and getting into Penn State University.
